That's a little much... Not a knock on Draiman, but I think I'd take Matt Shadows over him. Brent Smith, matching the power of Draiman with a little bit more range. I saw someone else mentioned Cornell, which is about as iconic. The best in the game (since Freddie Mercury) is definitely Myles Kennedy though. We can debate it, but you'll lose.
This is such a great song. I think everyone can relate to this even if they don't like Disturbed. Everyone raise their fists and feel The Animal inside!
First off....Disturbed did a Fantsstic job on this one, truly my favourite! The Lyrics, the Music, the Rhythm he chose to sing, and the power into each verse! I LOVE how he puts a growl and power into it, the raw emotion, very strong and obviously primal. I can't think of any better way to sing this than exactly like this, a very strong man like a warrior even and yet something more...Primal, to be greatly feared. Best of their Songs by far, in my opinion!
I honestly don't see why people find this song satanic. I can assure you, it's not. I believe that it explains how he likes the feeling of being a power hungry animal. He also is explaining the slow process of transforming, and how he enjoys it. Sometimes, I feel like releasing my inner animal as well. Thank you for your time, peace.
Yeah a lot of people think disturbed is satanic all together but if you watch some interviews with david draiman he even explains its the farthest thing from satanic
Disturbed is suspposed too be satanic dude. Ever hear of down with the sickness. Many heavy metal bands are that's why there considered hard not like that pussy pop shit
I don't know, I'm a Satanist (and none of that pussy atheist shit, I'm theistic. I revere multiple beings one may apply the title "Satan.") and this speaks to me on a deep spiritual level. Nothing wrong with it, it's a valid belief system. I'm not trying to be an edgelord or anything, Satanic stuff has always resonated with me even from childhood. I don't sacrifice kittens or babies or any stupid shit like that.
Slishes Maloney No. That song is about his drug addictions. Not werewolves, and that song is good and so is this. Just stop it, and stop disrespecting good music.
this song is fucking powerfully addictive. the music you guys have created, ever sense 97.1 The Eagle radio station located in the Dallas TX area had a voting battle between y'alls song Stupefied and another up coming band to see which song the listeners liked the most. and of course Stupified got well over half the votes. from then on, my fan status towards you guys, was absolute and quite helpful through my past struggles of being an outcast in school and your first CD was fucking repeat and I listened to it daily
Has no one actually considered this as motivation for what u want in life , like u n the voice inside and you are begging to meet and nothing will stop you both . Just a thought....
Some of us know how to control it but hate that we have to. Better to be a thing montrous and free but we live in a world where the sheep are in control.
+iLynxii oh...well mine turned into Skynet and I now have a Terminator in my room that says things like "get to tha chopper!" and "I'll be back!" except he certainly dont LOOK like no Arnold Schwarzenegger. XD
I like the way you handled that situation. Most people fall for the bait and it's about time someone was smart enough to stop the troll before they are raging. Bravo.
Omg, hopefully Disturbed plays this at his concert, yesterday Marilyn Manson played a vampire song that hated towards werewolf, this would be a great comeback
nothing like feeding off your emotions. let you emotions take control, and a primal side that you never let see the light of day will take every thing and every one down to the depths of the void that is you.
