Clarence Clemens made me want to learn Saxophone. This bloke is an inspiration to all budding saxophonists to keep going !!! LISTEN TO THE END. IT'S BLOOD CURDLING !!! Well done James
thanks SO much! yes ... that ending is intense! The song gets really high, but it is so gradual I think it is gentle on the ears and in the context of the lyric. I'm sure that you are a GREAT player. everyone has "their own sound." stay true to it!
Great one James! Do you have any sheet music for this song? I would love to try it myself in this key (the disturbed version instead of simon and garfunkel) Please give me a hand in this.
hello Cazzy ... I make a point to write out my material these days. However, with SO many people asking for sheets ... It is just too hard to share. BUT if you message me your email address I will send it to you. or friend me on facebook and I can send it in a direct message. I'm easy to find on fb ... my picture playing a sax :-)
Hello Karen my friend! Thanks so much! I will admit ... I never thought to cover Simon and Garfunkel's version. a old friend shot me a message and mentioned playing this version and I loved it! Thanks so much for always listening and for such kind words. Be blessed
@@JamesEGreen - Have you ever considered doing The Stones "Anybody Seen My Baby"? It a bit of a funky tune. My son and I saw them in 2000 or 2001 in Columbus, Ohio. We thought we should go, before any of them left this world. There are some strong genetics, or something going on there... Thanks for bringing joy to my soul with your sax. I really do appreciate your work. Stay well and be blessed, today and always! =)
