Tiffany LIED to them. She sat on the board of trustees herself before, and was harshly critical of the former mayor. She ran on a campaign promising transparency, but then flipped like a light switch as soon as she got a taste of elevated social status and authority. It's not the residents' fault.

This shouldn’t be a huge surprise. The fact that she has been allowed to continue at this pace for this long is the real crime in my mind.

Hopefully they will have learned a lesson about sweet talking politicians and their lies. I believe she was convicted and served time in jail prior to her political career. Yikes

Voting for people that "remind them of themselves' rather than trying to elect people of higher intelligence and value. Bet she speaks the exact same language as the voters. She's "one of them". Well, that is not what we need in office. We need people with greater judgment, higher morals, an ability to feel shame and far greater intelligence. We no longer seek exemplary, high-achieving individuals. Remembering that the average person is pretty freaking dumb, and the other half of all people are dumber than that, it is unremarkable that people like Henyard get in power.

It's ridiculous how this is playing out. She should've been suspended the minute the board voted to investigate possible abuse of power, put on full pay while an investigation was taking place by the FBI. The fact she was able to veto said investigation blows my mind What a stupid system.
