My book is coming Tuesday. I'm so stoked. Can't wait to put more fear into my grandkids on folklore than teach them reality that's way way scarier. My 12 year old grandson said "Nana, my future looks bleak" I said unless you heard that from a Wendingo you can rest assure that voice was very accurate...lol. I think I was sleep walking that night. 😂

@jamesmitchell-uh2ze Agreed. For context, Tyson Fury's ring weight is 270lb, and he's 12* inches taller, AND he's hardly svelte. There's no way someone who's below average height could carry that bulk and be considered fit, never mind 'forces' fit. *some sources have him at 6' 8", and others have him at 6' 9". I don't think it matters in the context of this thread.
And the sergeant was 4.5 ? That must have been some funky customized uniforms ... as is his sidearm .... a 1911 with laser attachment doesn't fit in a standard issue holster. And a marksman doesn't aim for a forehead at 25 yards with a 9mm ....the weapon lacks the accuracy at that distance ... dead center chest is what you go for.
@jamesmitchell-uh2ze Bradley '260' Martin did come to mind, but he's not as high profile as Tyson Fury, so I didn't see the point in referencing him. Even Daniel Cormier, at 5' 11" comes in at 250lbs, but with the greatest of respect to DC, he's not going to be anywhere near the fitness levels required for active military service. I think you've nailed it - 200lb is the absolute MAX for someone of thar height, and I'd still have serious questions about their stamina/cardio. No point being built like a tank when it takes you 5 minutes to run half a mile. Thank you for your input - I knew that the measurements were ridiculous, but it's always good to get another perspective from someone who knows what they're talking about. ✌️

That's a piss poor excuse. Just because you're writing a story, doesn't mean you have to forgo all important details, realism and believability. I'd rather hear a well written, well thought out creepypasta, than a "true" 45 minute to an hour long mess of a story.
To be more spiritual all you have to do is be wise enough to understand that there are many things that exist that you can't see. Once you open your mind and heart up a lot of it becomes common sense really...
Is the first story written by AI? It just doesn’t feel right. I mean there are a lot of weird phrasings and mistakes but what really confused me is the monster he saw kept popping up a 1000 yards away when he got close? That’s like 3/4ths of a mile, how would you see that in the dark. It’s like someone (a computer) doesn’t understand how distance works

Sea creatures? J Nightmares does that occasionally. Lilith Dread and Donovan Dread just cover cryptids and UFOs, underwater and otherwise. Scary Fairy Godmother does fae. Time lapse stories are done by As The Raven Dreams, every Monday. 💙

It was a Chupicabra a Spanish PR version basically from the 1990s it attacked back then the same creature basically is that yes it had green skin spikes along its upper body ha red eyes and large fangs this is what the PR people of that place called that creature during the times it attacked its livestock basically.
Hi, i was looking for an older story of yours and couldnt find it. The story is about a young man who bought a farm not far from the place he is working in. First he is occupied with the fruit trees on his land and the harvest in late summer. I think in autumn he noticed strange things on the farm (dont remember what exactly). While hunting he waits in a hunting stand and hears deer beeing chased by coyotes. The chase comes to a halt as the coyotes get scared by something bigger...(dont remember the rest). Overall the Story has major Folk Horror vibes and i loved it. I hope you can help, thank you!

"True" scary stories huh? Sucks that these "true" horror encounter story channels have become a you tube version of reddit. Another place for amature writers to post their stories. At least try to make it sound like its a true encounter. Im not saying the stories are horrible. Its just too obvious that the encounters are made up.
