Honestly I don't want to pressure you to go back to reading because it would be selfish. You've been reading these stories for years going hoarse while the next channel over puts the scripts into Microsoft Sam and gets twice the views. Why would I insist you run yourself ragged trying to John Henry against the machine when I literally can't tell the difference?
This is a one-off because I've been bedridden with horrible gut problems. Working my way around to feeling better so I can work again. Next episode is all natural, fortunately.

Well I dunno... it's kinda like my house. Its hard to describe but you walk in and it goes to the front room. If you go left it takes you to the bedrooms. 2 spares and a master. Then to the right is the dining area with kitchen off to the left of that. In the dining are stairs that lead to the loft. Which is where I sleep. I like banana pudding.
Describing things and details that have nothing to do with the story is trying to imitate the classic writing style of Stephen King. :) Inner monologues and thoughts are written down to make a scene come to life with a few emotions and details. And protagonists also describe details about daily mundane aspects of life to make a scene colourful and realistic for the inner eye - and this peaceful and calm scene suddenly gets combined with absolute horrific stuff happening, old evil lurking here for generations suddenly appearing, creepy experiences, supernatural encounters and more. First a deliberate peaceful scene is described a little bit: "This is how my house looks like, there is the old Bessy park, the street looks like this, behind my house is a garden, the fridge in the kitchen is one of these old-style ones with rounded corners, the small shop in the upper street still has these old dried flower decoration I need for Thanksgiving...." And suddenly the horror element gets injected into a calm, fully normal every-day-life scene: "Time really flies, after 7pm I was still lingering in this old fascinating corner shop looking at these antique dragon figurines, wondering how they would look like on my living room shelf. It is cozy and comforting inside, while outside deep dark clouds have rolled in from the west. A storm was coming. It was about time to go home before it started to rain. And then I saw it from the corner of my eyes through the shop window, in the dark galley behind the old Buick there was a clown casting no shadow... with teeth like a canine......he was grinning and waving in my direction!")

The second story kinda sounds like a waking dream, they happen to me all the time, when you wake up and you’re still dreaming and see the dreams in real life. I’ve seen hands going into my closet and an octopus slithering on the ground. They only last a few seconds before disappearing. All just dreams.

5 minutes in... I've had that happen. Shadow dog like a charcoal sketch, animated, crawling along, giant spider clusters, etc. all while waking up. It has something to do with blood vessels in the back of the eyes. It's very convincing the first time, but eventually the realization that there are no real discernable parts kinda ruins the illusion.
Omg. Of all the plsces in Mississippi to mention i cant believe it was Petal. My husband went to a boys home there from the time he was 13 until he turned 18. It was on Victory Ranch Rd in Petal, Mississippi. It became a girl's home and there was a lot of scandal surrounding it. The horror stories hes told me about that place and the people who ran it. But they werent thr supernatural kind😢
TBH, idk what these people are talking about. The TTS Sounds great, and it's barely indistinguishable. I use AI for one of my RU-vid channels, Eleven Labs, which is probably the best TTS out there, and I did not recognize the AI right away. Darkness, haters tend to be really loud, but they are a minority. Burnout is hell, and I understand you can't stop uploading. AI is here to stay, and content creators either get on board and make the best use of it(ethically, of course) or get left behind. Wishing you the best! Edit: Having said that, my problem with this video was the background music. It is too distracting and I could not watch the whole thing.
AI is the new technology that's here to stay, imo. I think its cool he can use it in his own voice and how cool is it that he can use it to still develop content for US when he's physically not able to do so? I think AI is incredible.
Love thid channel but what is up with the background musc. It kills the storiea. Wow its bad. Rain and thunder. It keeps people watching. But this sounds light and in a massage parlor. Please dont use it again.
I really wish you would rather step back, focus on yourself, resting, healing, whatever you need instead of forcing yourself to keep going, ending up giving us AI content. No offense but I am not a fan of AI at all. It's not the same or even near as good as real person. Plus it takes jobs away from real people, especially artists. I know this since I'm artist and follow a lot of fellow artists who struggle - thanks to AI fakes.

don't care that this is a "one off" AI voice video, even though you've experimented with it in the past. This channel has been going downhill for the last year or so. Ever since you started trying to sell us other stuff. You're more worried about that, than doing what it is that got you 700K subs: finding and narrating good stories. The stories have continually got worse, and clearly fake. A story doesn't have to be 100% believable to be good, but at least make me ponder, instead of picking the bottom of the barrel stories you found on the 45th page on reddit, or inputting tags into AI to have these written. If they aren't AI stories, then they are just plain awful.
