Theory: The masked man is trying to save people. But doesn't find it right to just go to jail. So instead, he kills the victim, making them taste their own medicine or never allowing them to do it again. Theory #2: The people the masked man killed did something bad to him or someone he knows/trusts. In order to take revenge for them. He kills the victim. But he doesn't find it right to kill them. So he leaves clues, so the police finds out its him. Theory #3: He just simply kills them for the fun of it.
