awesome burial did suggest the BGM for Breakdown (I'm not one to talk, I accidentally still did the level name for the last one), but I have also been stewing on this idea for a bit. Not including Dark Citadel (though technically the track title is Voices in the Blood) or Other Side of Madness, due to them being in their own DVGMs. And it's not all the map themes because there are some legitimately cool tracks in there.
The Madness (Staging Area): Kind of a flipside counterpart to Other Side of Madness, a dark industrial piece with some really freaky rumbling. Definitely one of the most structurally creepy on the soundtrack.
Warped Hive (Terraformer): Feels like a track that might have influenced the Iron Lung soundtrack. Prominent metallic creaking, more weird noises, but it has some semblances of classic Doom music in small doses.
The Rotted Foul (Breakdown): Now we're getting into some proper demonic stuff. The rumbling has a lower, more menacing tone and the kettle sound from Voices in the Blood is back, plus some very weird siren thing and those awful voices near the end. Pretty intense.
Perfect Hate (Pitfalls): Similar to the last one, yet much bleaker and more sparse at the start before growing in intensity.
