Right, so I am lucky enough to have tested some amazing TVs in my time on this channel and have continued to use a few great OLED TVs in my home and studio. But as brilliant as these are, there are a few things they lack, number 1 portability, and if you are outside, you’ve got the worry of it not being weatherproof….and number 3 TVs are limited to the max size you buy!
So when Nebula reached out to sponsor a look at their new 200” 1000 ANSI lumens world's first truly outdoor portable Mars3 Projector I thought, could I see myself completely switching my overall TV use, (sports, movies, TV shows, and gaming), to a projector for all my habits….well there certainly are pros and cons at play, so as you can imagine the answer to that is not a straight forward one! I really couldnt care what apps it uses, ive no interest. What im struggling to find is what video file formats it will play. If i have an MKV-mp4-AVI file, will i be in luck?

Mhmm is there only the Mars 3 air available?! Can't find the Mars 3 anywhere and the air has way less lumen and playtime :(((

This is a very mediocre home use only projector for the price. It is also the very best portable projector. I would not get this if I was only planning to use at home.

This has been voted the best portable projector for the money 1000 ansi lumens in a projector that can be used on batteries is pretty mega if you ask me. I got rid of my Samsung freestyle 2 which had 230 ansi lumens and that was almost 700 quid.

@@everythinginbetween4440You're saying the same thing I am. It's the best portable projector you can get. But if you're just going to use it at home in a set place... it is not a good home projector for the price.

It's an OUTDOOR projector. Ofcourse people who buy it are not gonna use it only for indoor The price it's obviously because it can be used both for indoor AND outdoor Where do you get that it's a home projector?

@@bensenzo Did you even watch the video or do you just go about commenting? A good portion of the video he compares it to traditional TVs and even the title is about switching from a traditional TV to the projector.

Use the Nebula purely for outdoor use. I would never see a need to use it indoors.

I suppose it will look good with corrie all the red bricks .but honestly samsing lsp 9 t is down to £3500 richer sounds six year gareuntee thats a cracker

According to Anker the only Nebula projectors that support 3D are Nebula Solar, Nebula Solar Portable, Nebula Vega Portable and Nebula Cosmos

Update, 3D has been added to this unit however it is not perfect yet. 3D feature can only be turned on if a 3D video is already playing. This is an issue because streaming services that support 3D like Vudu or 3D Blu-ray players, have to detect a 3D display before it even starts playing the video. However I was able to have a bit of enjoy watching the 3D videos available on RU-vid, side by side and top to bottom videos. RU-vid will play 3D videos without requiring your device to be detected as a 3D display. Also 3D settings are very hidden so if anybody needs help with that let me know and I will help. I reached out to nebula and they informed me that they hope to fix these issues in a near future update.
