That wasn't the point of the film, however. Part of its point was that our "good life" in America is PREDICATED ON and IMPLICATED IN "murdering tyrants" coming to power in other countries. The U.S. helped the KR come to power by illegally bombing Cambodia during the Vietnam War (which, by the way, was also "illegal"). How about the Taliban, which we created to stage a proxy war against the USSR in Afghanistan? The list goes on and on. We are CONNECTED to the rest of the world. We don't live in a silo.
