Sam did an awesome job on the sink!!! I love your hair coloring ❤❤ I agree that having one super busy day is better than having one thing a day for a few days. We're having that problem right now. I love Georgia's smile 😃 Take care and get the rest you need. Both you and Sam, ❤❤
That faucet is going to be great, Laura. What a busy day you and the kids had. Even after a long day at work and Sam knowing he had the sink work at home, he still came and took a couple of the kids home. He is a keeper, that's for sure. He is a great example to other husbands and dads. You are so wise to get all you can done in one crazy day. You rock!! Blessings!!
🎉 Congratulations on getting anew faucet! That will be a big help in the kitchen! Updating an old farmhouse is frustrating at times. Ours is from 1898 and we've been trying to work on it for the past 15 years as finances allow. We still have a long way to go! Seems like there always another project to add to our list!
Another busy day! Sam, good job on the plumbing. My husband has remodeled houses, built sheds, added on rooms - but he draws the line at plumbing! Glad you got a more convenient faucet now.
The new faucet will be so useful. I have a very similar one and love it. Old houses provide challenges with anything you want to change. I love for jars and have been using them since they came out.
A great fun day... wonderful job doing it all... and now water is available..love the new tap... Much love and appreciation from Australia God bless you all
Great video. We raised 5 children on a farm and our house looks a lot like yours. Almost all of the plumbing has been redone (sometimes more than once unfortunately).
Well…. My husband knows plumbing… it seems there is never a quick fix, only more expensive ones. Sigh. I am envious of your faucet! That’s what I want… maybe one day😂 glad y’all got your busy day behind you.
I finally got my new sink and faucet installed too! What a difference! I dont know how you were able to wash bigger things because I just could not in my old one! I got a tall faucet like yours and a single basin deep sink. I teared up when I washed my large cutting board and 15" skillet, so grateful!
I love the superb lids so thick made in USA and have a wide blue seal area-I have reused them 😂 I too prefer a long busy day and feel the others are messed up lol Georgia is getting such a personality- we feel you Sam our house was built in the 1880’s my husband said just replace the lines lol
You are gonna love that new faucet! I didn’t send the superb jars though! I’ve never heard of that brand before but curious to see how you like them! Your hair is super cute by the way!
Looks like your Mom and Dad already left! That was a busy day! Your hair color is bright and cheery, but heck, it's March and I think it should have been GREEN! So great that Sam can do plumbing jobs! Definitely understand the problems of changing out old things with new things in old houses!!! Not so fun. Have a great week and God bless!
We stack all the stops when we're away from home and it can get both long and tiring. Our party doesnt include kids from newborn on up and we still often get tired by the time we get home.
Can't wait to see what you make with the fruit roll sheets!! I sent the Superb lids. I've heard they are excellent!! I still have some lids I purchased in 2020 that I need to get used up before trying any of the new brands, so I'm excited to see what you think of them.
Hello This is Angela hart And there was a mess up With the books And the goldfish Card game I bought the stuff from amazon I didn't know how to send it to you so they helped me do it But it didn't work it came to me instead So I had to Pay the post office to send it To the kids And when I bought the stuff I didn't realize it was a coloring book in there I hope the children enjoy it
Hello My name is Angela hart And I hope The Book and Coloring Book And Dry fish Is there by now there was little mix-up But I was told it should be there by Wednesday
Now Sam…ALL remodel projects and fix or repair projects never go as planned do they? At least not for us and our retirement cottage was built in the early 60’s. I think your home is a bit older than that. I do rejoice with you when things do finally work because I know the struggles of old home repairs. No water in the kitchen with a large family is a struggle but Laura just needs to think of it as gaining another jewel in her crown for her patience. At least that’s what I always told myself as I usually was waiting for many days because my husband worked away from home during the week. It was always worth the wait in the end when the project was completed and successful. Looking forward to the canning lid assessment when it comes. Happy homesteading!!!:):):)
