In today's video, I wanted to give you some insight into what I do on a day to day basis while the kiddos are at school/daycare and hubby is on shift.
For the most part, my weekly schedule is uneventful as I spend most of it at my computer and/or taking a break from my computer.
However, this routine has changed since I first left my W2 job back in February of 2023, and I wanted to give some insight into what I do each day.
We'll be back to the solo parenting content next week!
As I briefly mentioned in this video, I have 3 businesses. First and foremost I'm a Financial Coach for first responders and specialize in helping with debt payoff and savings strategies. I'm currently contracted with one agency to provide my services for free of officers hired with this agency and also work with clients one-on-one outside of this agency.
My second business is a media relations company and I run it with my husband (who has prior experience as a reporter before he became a sheriff's deputy). We focus on positive media coverage for small businesses, local events and non-profits.
And lastly, my 3rd business is in commercial real estate. I'm part of a team of syndicators and are currently in closing on our first storage facility in Harlingen, TX.

Being an entrepreneur is a stark difference from working a W2 job and I'm still learning to navigate this world of owning my own business(s).
There are days where it's very fulfilling, and there are days where it's ultimately draining, but I wouldn't trade it for anything as it has helped me to show up as a better version of myself for my kids and my husband.
