Soy un auténtico profano, pero disfrutar del sonido de tu arpa con la mirada perdida a las montañas de Gredos...es una experiencia mística. Gracias por tu música.
I agree with Rogelio. This is a wonderful harp concerto. I think that Dittersdorf was a very underrated composer of concertos. His violin concerto in D major is wonderful as well.
This was just spectacular! Dittersdorf always brings a smile to my face. This performance helped me greatly, as I'm trying to appropriately write for harp.
Thoroughly delightful! Some gorgeous moments, Mozartean chromaticisms, and beautiful idiomatic writing for the harp. Bravo performers, and to Dittersdorf.
A most delightful ambiance comes to fore from this composition as it unfolds beautifully .Ms. Cotan your playing is nothing short of superb. A real treat to have heard this performance.Thank You.
The piece, the solist and the instrument forming together a wonderfull transcendend joy of music listening. Perfect interpretation with full of artistic intelligence, Thank you so much, köszönöm szépen!
An outstanding performance of an outstanding composition. I have never heard any of Dittersdorf's music before this performance. He deserves to be better known.
Amazing harp player! I loved the dynamics and expression rosa put in to making it sound musical - it was intense when intended to be and also in some moments relaxing. I loved the orchestra and the piece. I am currently working on the same piece. Listening to this video really helped me become more musical.
Although I Have only heard the harp played sporadically--this is the most beautiful performance of this instrument that I have encountered. Also I have only recently become acquainted with Dittersdorf; He's great!
The music of Faso is an inexhaustible source of sweetness. It allows us to plunge deep inside ourselves and at the same time resonate with our fellow man, Yé Lassina Coulibaly❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Enjoyed this performance very much. Great sound and the great camera work which provided insight into how difficult it must be to master the harp. I don't understand the foot pedals but it was very interesting to watch. Thank you.
R GH I am a harpist and the foot pedals control the flats and sharps. There are 7 total for C D E F G A and B There are also three “slots” for each one- flats natural and sharp! I hope this helped!!
Beautiful lady and a fantastic player 👍 thank you for sharing ❤️ The very first time I've visited this channel but definitely not the last time!! 👏 I wish you all the best 🍀
Me encanta tu interpretación :) estoy aprendiendo este concierto y hay muchas digitaciones que he aprendido de ti. Muchas gracias y muchas felicidades.
What impresses me most is that you know straight away which string to pluck on the harp. Practice! I know. Nevertheless, I have the utmost respect for this achievement! 🙂
Is it just me or the third movement theme (@16:35) reminds everyone of Beethoven's Choral Fantasy theme? Is it possible that Beethoven copied it from von Dittersdorf? Just wondering...
tonskimojster Beethoven is known to have copied themes, but in his middle period, he was confident enough to transform them and not use them in their original contexts. It would be a curiosity if Beethoven knew this piece, as Dittersdorf was somewhat resistant to trends of the high Classical period.
@@StuartSimon it seems to me that such similarity cannot be coincidental... It's practically identical. Here's another thought: Maybe both composers "referenced" a popular (or otherwise well known) piece of that time? Just a thought...
@@tonskimojster Not that big similarity in Beethoven case but cheek Hayden cello concerto 2 First movement 03:58 spiccaly here I think it's Identical m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5tAvhIyw-BY.html
Um...posers like you, who'd like to appear knowledgeable by using terms which they don't know the definitions of, are easily exposed - especially in the classical music field, which is populated by some very knowledgeable people. I'm a jazz musician (organ, 58 years experience) but even I know that there is no such thing as "vibrato" on the harp. You picked a term to hawk your "knowledge" with that is simply not applicable to the instrument. I don't think I need to comment about "microphone placement." I'd suggest that music is a field you should perhaps eschew in favor of something with which you are more acquainted. I'm sure you might have a long and successful career ahead of you as a shoe salesman. Have a Nice Day.
