My luck is amazing. I woke up this morning, saw your announcement video that ditto is available, opened Pokemon and caught one from a rattata. Never even had to get out of bed since rattatas spawn in my house. Then went on a short walk and caught two more. #ditto master

I caught a Ditto discussed as a Rattata but I know a friend whos 2 Dittos where his 1st Ditto was a Pikachu and his 2nd was a Doduo, so not really any of them was his discussed.

I got my first ditto from a pikachu! I caught it thinking it was a pikachu and then I looked at the screen (I missed the ditto transformation) and I saw ditto and thought I was going crazy thinking maybe I really caught a ditto and it wasn't a pikachu in the first place (like it was behind it or something ) And then a few days later I caught ratata and it turned into a ditto and I finally got to see the transformation :)

I THINK I KNOW HOW DITTO WORKS: the way i think it works is that the bar on the top that shows how close the cp is to being maxed, and that with that bar lets say it is a 10 cp ditto so the bar is all the way to the left, so when it fights lets say a dragonite it will be the amount of cp as the bar goes right so if you had a ditto abd a dragonite that were maxed and the dragonites cp is 1000, then if you fight a gym the ditto will also turn into cp 1000 because its cp is also maxed.
