This sounds like Yannek again? I perform training for a living and I can tell you from a professional angle; this guy is the best I've seen for giving training. He has a natural ability to deliver information.
amazing, amazing, amazing! I guess this lfo technique is used in Rival Console's tracks, but there everything is analog and sounds more organic, in this case, there are more possibilities in plugin format
What is the actual creative process behind sound design? E.g. Did the idea of what the sound should be like come first, or was it a case of fiddling with controls until you thought, “that sounds good?”
Hey! Thanks for your comment. The idea of this sound came across while hearing some colyn tracks! I think he started a whole new sound area with his “evolving leads”. So I really liked this kind of “growing” LFO sound and then started to try to find some solutions to patch it on my own. I think if you know this process you van start to vary it and play around with the modulations to get somewhere else (nobody has been before!). Cheers:)
Hello, Alex Saville. It's like Yannek said: there's no absoluty answer for your good question. Some time you know what you want in your mind then you do it on Synth; sometime you'll find what you really like while you're doing aleatory things
Would be cool to follow along but we would need the midi driving the synth to be shown (in clip view) so we could replicate the notes. Looks like a series of four notes with the same pattern playing an octave higher?
Hi Kiyan, good one, here we go: First Chord: D2 + F3, 2nd Chord: F2 + A3, 3rd Chord: A2 + C4, 4th Chord: G2 + B3 (you can also see it in the following video at 10:47 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LB7WzCmxKUA.html )
@@francoispml Thanks François! I scanned through this video but never saw the clip up close... I didn't realize it was the same clip as in your video.
@@jslg7641 Good point, but I´m only helping beginners learing sound synthesis. Nailing the sound gives feelings of mastery, and a little mistake like that only makes a beginner frustrated.
