Thank you! I've been searching everywhere for a good tutorial. This is excellent. I was able to walk through step by step with you. I really appreciate it!
Nice tutorial. Thanks for your help. Just one quick question: if you set it for Air Diving mode does the computer automatically understand that you are using 21% O2 and 79% Nitrox? as the normal air mixture? Or should I set it on Nitrox Diving mode and then put 21% Nitrox? I'm a new Open Water Diviner and want to buy a Suunto but want to make sure that is easy to understand and to use. Thanks for your response :)
sorry for the delay in response. I have not dove this computer, but I do believe that after a dive in one mode or another, it will not permit you to switch you back to another mode. If someone who dives this can verify I would welcome the clarification. If the algorithm for air is programed for 20.9%, which is what true air actually is, the numbers may be slightly off. If you are conducting dives within the normal recreationally limits (as this computer was designed to do) any inconsistency caused by the .1% difference is small compared to acceptable calibration deviation of analyzers or depth sensors of the computer that the impact on your NDL is negligible. But, I can but two of these in a pressure pot and do an experiment to see if yields a difference.
I just got the Suunto Zoop and getting frustrated with the data transfer. There are no instructions on how to even attach the data cable which isn't easy to figure out at first. Thanks to RU-vid I figured it out. Now it's not syncing with my laptop. Again, no instructions. And isn't the purpose of having data xfer to be able to load your dives to your PC? Well, what app do you use? Nothing. I'll call Suunto support on Tuesday.
I am a real bad person to ask about what app to review my logs from my computer. I have not really ever established the habit to do so. sorry! But many of my students say they like diverlog+ and I am fairly digitally illiterate and was able to get it work, so there's that!
Hello brother, please I want advice about a problem suunto zoop novo, the surface time counter has not stopped counting since the last dive Please help me find the solution, thanks 😁👌🏼
Yes, it does show depth . Actually, everything works well except for one problem. The only problem is that it counts minutes for 48 hours after every dive before it gets back to zero (I don't know if it is normal especially that it happens after each and every successive dive).
