Only ever saw a tadpole fish once at Ballachulish. Had no idea what it was and started to describe it as a big tadpole. Bloke (Don Lees) I described it to said "oh that's a tadpole fish". I thought he was winding me up until I saw it in a book. (pre Internet)
I was the same when I saw it for the first time . It did take some time to find out what it was. I was expecting it to swim away but it did not . If it wasn’t for the internet 🛜 I wouldn’t of known plus there would be no youtube to show that I found one lol .
It’s taken from yesterday to find out it’s name . Plus I thought the lump sucker was a puffer fish .great dive site if the sun came out it would defo be like diving in the med .
