I head out to find some big water to hunt after all of the water freezes up in my area. I head out to a spot I have hunted in the past without scouting it and we have a rough start to the trip!

you need to get a fishing net to pick up your birds so you don't miss them or have to get your hands wet everytime.

just a word of advice.get a regular fishing dip net to retrieve birds. keeps your hands dry and a guy last year fell out of his boat and it took off without him when he leaned over and hit a wave to get a dead bird

FYI the water is the lubricant for the plastic impeller , just like oil in a 4 stroke engine

That’s what the thermostat is for , you will burn that power head up with no cooling for the piston rings in the block

Yes!! My motor is peeing water 98% of the time. The other 2% is fine. If it goes out I’ll fix it. Gotta do what I gotta do in the shallows! Glad you’re enjoying the vids brother! 👊

Yeah they just don’t taste as good as mallard. I end up grinding them or putting them in stew with divers. But I’m gonna have to grease them next time for y’all.

Yo the trick I use for divers is make sure you take the skin off the meet then put the meat in salt water for a day. If you cook it medium rare pan seared it’s actually pretty good and not fishy at all

@@BWFilms hehe makes a bit more sense, just saw the video first one that showed up for me. Was out fishing watching loads of bills and goldies and geese flying around. I have that feeling about mallards, could care less if i ever shoot one again, such a boring duck lol.
