I dont have enough time to make all of Annie’s bags! I ❤️ her patterns and always look forward to seeing what she will cone up with next! I hope one day she makes an updated version of her out to lunch pattern! Will have to continue to keep an eye out! 🤗
These look like lovely bags. Annie's bags are all really good! But I'd like to see these shown with one done with the fabrics like they have here, and the other in plain fabrics (or those with allover prints that are so tiny they look more-or-less solid). An unfussy fabric can look very classic and timeless, and also helps you to really appreciate the design and details of the bag itself. For example, I found it really hard to tell, quickly, that the front pocket had a border.
Megan Mills I agree, I couldn’t see the border even after she pointed it out. A lot of quilters use very pretty patterned fabrics in their bags but I find it really hard to see the structure through the busy patterns. Must be something about eye training, haha.
Love this bag. I had not seen this pattern before. Can't wait to try it. One question on the video, Do you know the name of the quilt pattern that is hanging behind Annie? It has ocean waves and crabs.
I love your bags. Your patterns are easy to follow. I was just wondering if Divide and Conquer can hold a 17” laptop or if you have another bag to suggest to me that will carry a 17” laptop. Thanks.
Thanks, Marie! Yes, it was the larger bag that I used to carry my laptop on the plane. It measures 15.5" diagonally but the actual measurements are 13" x 9" x 1". I could fit it as well as a binder in the vinyl compartment and the bag still fit under the seat.
Hi Rebecca, yes - but you have to do a little work. Each pattern comes with a unique coupon for the value of the video. When you get your pattern, come back to our website and use the coupon to "buy" the Add-on Video for free.
The video is available on our website (ByAnnie.com). There is a coupon in the printed pattern that enables you to get the video at no charge. Otherwise there is a very reasonable $5 charge for the video. (But you will need the pattern in order to make the project, so order it and then buy the video so you can use the coupon!)
Hi MTP, did you see that it does have our Add-on Video? This is a hybrid option we have created that has the full printed pattern + you get access to our Add-on Videos which help you with the most complicate parts. At only $9.95 it is a steal. www.byannie.com/divide-and-conquer
I love your Craftsy/Bluprint classes and the add on for the Easy Does It. I just got my stabilizer, once I make a decision on the fabric, I'll get the zippers! Thank you
