There's a hole in the wall in the room the chest is in, you're using the device to spawn a scorch cannon then using the scorch cannon to break all the white glowing rocks all throughout the area, freeing the orbs and the devices you dunk them in. There's a bar on the side of the dunk device that fills up to 10, arc orbs are worth 2, solar orbs are worth 3, and void orbs are worth 4. So 2 void + 1 arc in the first and 2 solar + 2 arc in the 2nd. 7 orb locations / orbs.
