Yo brother Jake you're living the dream. I'm working hard trying to get there, I'm 45 just broke a new mile stone myself. I'm blending growth and Divs and it's working good. Just passed 300k! We can do this people stick with it!

Don't tell your so called friends ANYTHING 😢. They are probably jealous of you and may steal from you. Keep a low profile and act poor. Most people don't talk about their finances and this is a very personal matter. Keep them guessing.😊

Yeah I don't tell anyone except for my very inner circle. That is part of the reason I don't have my camera on and don't share my full name. I prefer to keep my privacy. lol I still wear clothes from high school and if you saw me on the street... you would think I'm a scrub haha

Some suggestions for the guy who’s helping his 18 YO. I put my 11 yo grandson into 25% each: VB, VO, VOO And VXUS. Performance has been excellent. The current portfolio looks like it would suit a 70 yo.

Hey Michael!! Happy Sunday! Yeah I like that approach. The thing I forgot to mention during that portfolio review was that you could always rebalance LATER into insurance or utilities but focus on the growth now for the next 40 or so years.

For the daughters portfolio i would honest just say VTI and nothing else, never needs to be changed and will 100% work over 40 years

Yeah if not that then a very large %. The biggest challenge is being tempted to change things and time the market. Best to just stay with one strategy.

I Am Canadian I have a TFSA and RRSP tax free self directed investment accounts I have Canadian stocks and ETFs in both and I have US ETFs also in both
