Nothing. Except the share price will fall by the amount of the dividend so you’ll most likely end up with the same amount in total. Also you still have some time to wait until you get paid a dividend from the ex dividend date 👍. I wish it was that easy no free money unfortunately
Hey Louis thanks for watching. If you hold any US shares, including REITS, there is a witholding tax (for UK citizens) of 15% (my current understanding). Feel free to check and verify yourself.
