Ight guys so a pretty fishless outing but at least I tried. The fishing has been pretty slow in the surf. Therefore, what a better way to spend a hot September day then diving for some jetty treasure.

nothing better than a powerade on a hot stagnant muggy late summer day, that was free and you didnt have to carry it out there. my buddy chris eife tho deserves the credit for that rule. it is the rule tho for sure.

Yeah man that's awesome. Can find some pretty good stuff. I have a few poppers I lost today in the atlantic to bluefish. Sucks knowing the cost and when I seen this video and the lures it's like the complete opposite and exciting when finding them. Man there must be so many out there buried in the sand through all the years.

Maaannnnn if you do that where I fish at you'll make a freaking fortune. Wish I knew how to swim 🏊‍♂️ 😕 😒 😪. But the current is too strong where I fish at you probably wouldn't be able to do that

Fall run will be running late this year. If the weather stays warm enough, the stripers will be staying active into December. Water temperature topped 81.7 at a local buoy in Bridgeport, CT Thursday.

Yeah , fishings been slow up here at the canal also. Too fricken hot. I was in Southwest Harbor Maine for a couple weeks and we had a few days in the nineties , that's like unheard of up there in late August. Did see a nice 400 lb. bluefin taken though , that was special

Rich you ever consider getting into spearfishing saw quite a few divers at Manasquan inlet in August and a guy caught a 41 inch cobia there a couple weeks ago

There's something uniquely organic about finding a lost lure and putting it to use and catching fish on it. It's a good feeling. Not only the amazing feeling of finding a lure, you get the chance to put in back in the line up.
