Aparna is a teenage girl who lives with her mother in rural Sri Lanka. Despite being smart at all school subjects, Aparna has a passion for the building and construction industry, which she got to interact thanks to her uncle who is a mason. Aparna's mother is averse to Aparna's construction obsession and urges her to be a doctor or a teacher. Mihira, Thanshila, and Biso who are Aparna's friends from the village have their own socio-cultural issues about their futures and career options. A supportive teacher at school introduces them to career guidance. The story is about how the teenage friends overcome the socio-cultural barriers and commit to sorting their futures.
