When I first saw your landed dome crushing that one guy/thing underneath, immediately my first thought was "oh. so that's why they're attacking you. you're the baddie!" lol
@@StonedtotheBones13 Idk. I thought it looked a bit like the very first enemies you encounter that come and pound on the dome. "YOU KILLED MY BROTHAAAA!"
I like this series more than any other you've done to date. Something about this game just speaks to me and your commentary and ability to play so well makes it all the more enjoyable. Please keep playing for the channel as long as you enjoy the game.
Hot take. The orchard absolutely carried you. It was, although temporary, a consistent buff to your dig speed that was effectively free. Idk for sure, but I think the topped out duration makes it more or less permanent with the overcharge.
People seem to really underestimate some upgrades. The condenser like you mention can overcharge your primary all the time. That could be a massive shield.
Love this series! Makes me laugh tho how little he cares about water/o2 in this run through. Stockpiling it makes those fun gadgets you get so much better (and the fruit).
So I've been playing this game... more than I should... the past few days, and I've come to a potentially controversial conclusion: Oxygen/Water is the best resource. The reason for this is very simple - it's a mandatory resource for all gadget upgrades, and gadgets are what make your run a) powerful and b) unique. It also, with the orchard (which i think is the best choice of the three, probably? either that or shield for being able to play riskier early - depends on what type of run you're doing) turn fruits into basically a massive perma-buff. Gold (which is technically iron??? why) is a lot more finite, but it's also much more abundant and kind of levels out in how useful it is towards the end half of most runs. 1 gold when you're in the third layer down is very different to 1 oxygen at the same point if you're speccing heavily into gadgets
Damit here I was thinking brutal difficulty was earning its name and then some, only to see there's even worse. With what I can assume an even more fitting descriptor...
I hope you get the teleporter in another run to utilise its full potential. I think it's the most OP item in the game, 10x better than the lift - better than the pre-nerf lift.
So in this game, you invade a technologically inferior planet, crushing one of their residents on landing. You then immediately proceed to start drilling into their planet, extracting rare materials. And when the natives try and defend themselves and their planet, you use your tech advantage to obliterate their forces. Until you eventually find a relic of extraordinary power, and use it to repel the natives last ditch effort to stop you from plundering their resources. Nice. Lol
winning by the skin of your teeth feels pretty good in this game also makes the video more exciting to watch that said the you asked for it mode is a bit too much for any sane man
