Amazing clip guys. I’ve just started freediving again at Swansea Heads with a Sony Action Cam. The fish life to date has been prolific....but I imagine over at the Island it would be even better. To dive & film the Grey Nurse is the dream. Cheers. 👌🏻🤗👍🏻

Hello, I was wondering if you know whether I could dive moon island on my open water 20. I'm thirteen so think the maximum depth is around 18m or something. I am getting my licence in a few months at snorkel safari

Blaine: hey mate. Max Depth around moon island is about 20 odd metres. While you are limited to 18m, you can still dive it, just keep an eye on your computer so you don't exceed your max Depth. You will also have to keep an eye on your ndl, as it is quite possible to go into deco (you will understand what this means after your course). You have several options to go out and dive it.. You can either go out with snorkel safari, which Matt and Shannon will be able to arrange with you. Or Tony from grey nurse charters can take you out. Over the Winter months grey nurse sharks are all around is island and the heads, and are amazing animals to dive with.

Sean Bassett thanks heaps man. I can't wait to get my licence and be able to explore the ocean, but yes, I will constantly check my dive computer. Thankyou again
