@@ashwinandkrichelle5876 yep I’m based in Hedland but try to get out and about as much as I can. The diving up here can be ok but there are certainly better spots on the coast.
Epic video mate some great fish and shots love ya work. I've only been in karratha a year and getting into my diving. Would be great to get out with some experience divers here.
There’s a few good divers around and Dampier has some great diving to get you started all the way through to more advanced. Best bet is to look into the WAUC membership, there’s a few members in the Pilbara. There’s also a local club, the North West spearfishing club who runs comps starting in winter. Good way to hook up with other divers 🤙🏼
Hey mate, you can definitely dive in Port Hedland. You won’t break any fish records but you can get a feed easily enough. Biggest challenge is the big tides (can only dive around neap tides) and visibility, you’d also need a boat. In certain conditions you could shore dive but it’s very rare. Best thing to do would be join the NW spearfishing club or WA undersea club. Good way to find a group to dive with.
