18:17 answer is wrong. Because 74100 ÷37 gives remainder 26. OR 74100= we can write in this form |074|100| ÷37 74 ÷37 remainder is 0 100÷37 reminder is 26 So 0+26=26 Answer is 26

Sir when we divide 174/37 then if we multiple 37×4=148 then the remanider will became= 26 but why you take 37×5=185, so then you minus it and you get -11 then how you get =28

bro, because 185 is very close to 174 rather than 148, by which we can easily find out the remainder is more than 28 or not and then sir 37-11=26, its a simple mistake and then we know that if value is 11more than number than we do minus the 11 to find the exact number and also for balancing the number 37 but 26+11=37. ok bro

sir, can remainder derived from groups be multiplied to get answer? what I did was, when we were dealing with 174 x 100, I divided by 37 right there, giving R 1 and 26. 1x26 is still 26, hence it becomes the answer? is my approach correct?

Sir, at 12:10 Since 1001 leaves a remainder of 1, how is it true that it's factors will also leave a remainder of 1. Although it's true in this cae, is it true in general ?

1001 leaves a remainder of -1 Vedika. And Yes, It's True In Every Cases. Like 10000/9999 leaves a remainder of 1. Now 9999 = 101×99. So 10000/99 also leaves a remainder of 1. It's True In General. Hope That Helps !

brother we can never write negative remainder as our final answer. The negative remainder concept is just for us to understand remainders better. You should always write convert the remainder into positive and then mark the answer.

Hiii I have a doubt at 3:34, 600/33 gives remainder of 6 while simplify the (12x50)/ 33 to 200/11 and it is giving me remainder of 2. Is it wrong to simplify?

No, you can simplify but you have to take into consideration the common factor, here the common factor is 3 when you simplified, hence multiply the remainder 2 with common factor 3 you will get 6 as remainder. *Common factor is the number you used to simplify numerator and denominator* Hope it explains :)

Since cancelling factor of (600/33) is 3, so you need to multiply your remainder of (200/11) by 3 i.e. 2×3=6 to get the final answer

Please correct me if i am wrong: (074|100)/7 on 100 part you can apply your Rule and fine you got +1 Remainder, but 074 there's nothing that will make 10cube or 10 power 6 so instead it must be directly divided with 37 not with digit's place 10s and this way the remainder that we would obtain overall = 1. Logically 74100/37 gives 1 remainder right? Thanks sir

Bro, it's the remainder as 1 when we take 10^0 as common from 12 as sir taught us in the second class of Divis. rules. Plz, don't confuse it with 12/33. So any number In order to be divisible by 33 has to be written in the form of 10^2x/33 which will give us the remainder as +1. So he did the same. Just flip through your previous pages.
