Armor Regen is the second worst attribute in the game?! Wat I agree that memento isn't the DPS meta, but if you're doing any kind of hybrid, it's definitely in the running, especially at full stacks. You get 3x WD cores, 3x regen brand bonuses, the skill efficiency as you mentioned, a skill tier (+20% skill damage for some skills), and an armor core... those are some bigly bonuses. Each Exotic becomes a trap if you don't utilize it properly. Dodge city becomes a loss of a brand bonus if you just don't use it. Vile is a trap if you don't use statuses. Definitely useful to call out when certain items become traps - keep the avalanche of content coming Dod!
Gift talent should be +30% TWD with debuff time of 5s, so we have a greater buff with higher penalty on pair of Perfect Glass Canon chest ('cause if no other source of TWD is available, like Obliterate, TWD behaves like an Amplified Weapon Damage due multiplicative rules).

explosive resistance is OK if you are the only one bullwark tank (with sweat dreams) in legendary strongholds with 1 healer, 1 sniper and 1 skiller/CC (or even 1 hybrid DPS-tank). armor regen is also OK in PVP if you are maximizing tankiness survival at same time with good aiming and some headshot rolls, besides the setup of deflector drone and perfect efficient kit chest. but yeah, such stats are very niche
This trap video I found particularly salient. Hard agree on your point of not burning yourself out chasing things like the Regulus or Gift. There's so much content you can explore and different build combinations to try out, meta or not, that you can just keep on playing for quite awhile just finding your preferred playstyle and build to support it, all the while accumulating watch points, mats, and better and more unique gear pieces almost passively as you just keep going. Progression is going to happen just by playing the game, without trying to force it. Sure, you want the top end stuff and godrolls to stuff your inventory to bursting but that will, eventually just happen. I do love my Regulus, and a couple of godrolled gifts I have, but thinking of the Gift in particular, or the Dark Winter, Apartment, etc... And the amount of time I spent trying to grind those out sub 1k in the DZ makes amuses me everytime one drops, is at a vendor, or pops out of a chest for me and I just shrug, and junk it immediately. Just by engaging the game, playing how I like, with the exception of one or two true unicorns/raid locked pieces, I've long since passed the point that high rolled exotics/named that I once thought I needed *now* (LD, Coyote's, memento, etc...) drop for me at random and I just see materials or cash from the vendor. It's easier to say from my perspective, of course, but all my time and experience in the game has just gone to show that pretty much everything you want/need will come; without trying to force it
My computer hasn't crashed in the 2 years since I built it... Until I reinstalled the division 2. It's been constant. Even with the update, it's still happening. I know a ton of people who'd play it if it actually worked, but it doesn't.
The only thing that i don't like about Momento is that you have to keep collecting throphies! One fast travel to a safe house and u have to start all over! That's why i rather Vigilant, i like to roam sometimes and not worry about losing stacks.
Just fast travel to friendly CPs or friendly resource convoys, or missions. You wont lose stacks. You will lose stacks if you travel to a community though, like Campus for example. If you have No Regen directive on, then just swap a gear piece to something else, then back again once out of combat, boom armor back, no need to use kits. Only time I respawn at safehouses is if I'm totally out of kits or need the stash.
That build is the only Meta build that uses Memento and is one fo the few where, in that case, Memento will be considered best in slot. Memento has one build. Just one. Yet, people argue it is the absolute best Backpack in the game. For one build.
@@DodRegnbue interesting. Memento is NOT the META in this build. The gift is. The problem is player skill and our collective inability to hit 100% headshots. So we wind the build back to allow a level of survivability given our skill and our ability to get the job done quickly (in this case Speed Run DUA). This is why the memento is seen by many as the best back pack in the game - survivabilty. I don't think it is a new player trap but there are situation where you would definitely not use it. Maybe an old player trap!!! Remember Have Fun, Don't Die may, for some, equal the Memento. Nice call on the "websites" that charge for exotics....
I am baffled that people pay monthly fee just to see some build videos one man army, juggernaut, Solo legendary build. Grock community is good for raids
People who have this weapon have been trying to tell other players this for years. It has its place on certain builds IMO and tenacity can be nice for PvP assuming you don't die from it 🤣
I would like to counter with you can look pretty rad with it and Sawyers Kneepads though. Then run around shouting "Falcon Punch" as you get picked off by a random red bar 800 meters away with a random mp5 spray.
Well, just because the difference is "only" 15% there is no reason to use an ACR or a mk16 other than to feed your library and donate for expertise. The main issue I have now is and sorry if I come out blunt, new players that are old (as in 60+) we've got 5 of them in our clan now and trying to make them remember even the basic things like "don't use a single green set piece, you'll want 4" or "don't use turret & drone with an all red build". You know, basic shit. I really appreciate your new player traps videos, I am pointing to your videos as "homework" for all new players in our clan.
You can't put survivability into numbers that's why you think it's completely useless... Like at work, you can measure performance but you can't measure trust... Even special forces prefer mid performer with high trust than high performer with low trust... That's why Memento best in slot, it gives you something that you can't put into numbers... Survivability
Idk if I’d quite say it’s best in slot but I agree that his comment about armor regen being useless is wrong, 3% armor regen can help immensely, especially on a run & gun build, combined with the bonus armor from the trophy short buff
3% regen is useless if you don't have any armour. I almost always use Memento but I almost always use armour cores, I find all red builds very boring. Some people are obsessed with highest damage figures, etc, I prefer having fun and surviving 😉
@@DodRegnbue what do you mean by armour gain? Blue cores? Of course blue cores are useless... I don't think it's important how much armour you have but how fast you can recover from damage while keeping the ttk as low as possible...

Just for some perspective, a full red build with Memento gives 24,900 armour per second. A Good DPS build can get 1 kill a second. an Armour on Kill Mod is 18,935. You had this to say about AOK MODS. "Armor on Kill mods? WTF no one uses that lol most useless mod" AOK Mods are about as effective as Momento at full stack. . . . . .
