The biggest nightmare scenario I imagine is the game goes to overtime. Bills score a touchdown first possession, Chiefs score touchdown and goes for 2 for the win
@@kpwillson No, Chiefs fans remember very well. The proposed the same Playoff OT Rules & all 31 other teams voted against them. KC fired their DC at the time (Bob Sutton) & a vast majority of the Defensive players. The infamous Dee Ford (#55) Offsides penalty. That's when we signed Steve Spagnolo as our DC.
I love the wildcard weekend. Yes the two #1 seeded teams respectively have a bye, but it is still intense entertainment. But only one game was within a score and it in reality most of the games were lopsided than the the final scores. Ready for playoff weekend #2!
If texas wins it will be via shootout Ravens offense is too dynamic for that team to handle the only defense left in the AFC that can make a game of it with Baltimore is KC if they loose Ravens got smooth sailing to the SB
Lions didn’t have Gibbs or Montgomery in the last game and were missing BB, Bucs are dangerous but Baker ain’t Stafford so he will miss throws. Lions 27 Bucs 20
Mike’s right and Chris is right with his best bet! !!! Remember last year when Patrick Mahomes, ON ONE LEG !!! (with his team) won the divisional game ! !!! 😊
You also remember how the NFL handed KC the #1 seed because of the Demar Hamlin incident along with no less then 6 blown or non calls that altered the outcomes of games giving KC wins? We all saw how they moved the Buffalo/Pitt game this year to a different day because of inclimate weather? We all remember how games got rescheduled during covid? Yet they couldn't reschedule Buff vs Cinn and just hand KC the #1 seed? That was straight up theft.
Detroit is in a completely different BUILD class than TB. TB has heart...they have talent...they have arguably the best coaching in the NFL....but...BUT...they are lacking on Salary this year...they will get squashed this game. When TB is bad, they are REALLY bad. No freaking way TB walks away with a win, they won last week because PHI is beat to heck.
Regarding the last segment of which QB you trust most this weekend, I think Purdy is the best choice. Not because he's "better" than Mahomes, Stroud, etc. but because he's playing against one of the weakest pass defenses in this round and is part of an offense that is really rolling. Most of the guys that are viewed as superior have to go against much tougher opposition.
And Purdy didnt really play that well. He did above average, but I wouldnt say he showed anything to have more faith in him than the other QB's mentioned.
@@dalehammers4425 I have to admit that he didn't play nearly as well as I expected. Although he seemed to finally calm down on that final drive and looked more like himself. Props to the much maligned Green Bay defense who made both Dak and Brock look less than stellar in back to back games.
@@TapCat The pack were a much better team than their record stated. Fell short, but damn it was a close game. Lions/Bucs game was a good one too, but Baker is who we always knew he was. Good QB that will hand games over to his opponent more often than not.
Chris once again you'll be saying sorry. If it involves football and Mahomes the answer is Mahomes. He's acting like an OC that does too much. Can't wait
@@yoursodumn Allen has had a better supporting cast ....like A LOT better supporting cast at WR/TE. He also has been his own team's demise (INTs). He's the solution and problem to the Bills.
Its funny you used the "chiefs fuh 💩 up" 😂😂😂 cause.... on the other hand JOSH ALLEN can fuh 💩💩 up in a matter of a second.... chiefs will win this game and i doubt the bills can score more than 20 on this chiefs elite defense.. last game chiefs had no pacheco, no tranquill, no smith... and they'd a lost playing a much more struggling chiefs offense, because of toneys FOOT😂
These guys talk about stroud not going back in the pocket but the first throw he made for the 71 yd td he did nothing but run backwards and throw off one foot
mikadeflorio alwayzah pickin justalike mr simms. no coincidence😂 im just as guilty as florio, but the nbc needs to get connor rodgers and other hosts across from chris
To be fair, and I say this as a Chiefs fan... the Chiefs have also beaten themselves multiple times this season 😂In fact, you could say that about every loss they had except for the Mahomes flu game in Denver and the game against Green Bay in Lambeau where Jordan Love and A.J. Dillon cooked a defense that has otherwise been consistently excellent this season.
"Get them to the third down" the lions are 10th in the league in third down conversion lmao. Tampa is 9th. Neither team has issues converting on 3rd down.
@ubaldobarragan898 nah I was rooting for Baker but I have no dog in the fight with the NFC. I'm a Chiefs fan. Happy for the Lions Org! Edit: I will be pulling for Detroit over SF!
Every one, including you Chris, are missing the overwhelming variable in this upcoming game. This Ravens defense is a historically great defense. No defense in the NFL has ever led the league in sacks, takeaways and points allowed. They also have the #1 pass defense in the NFL. The secret is their amazingly high quality depth. A back up safety led the league in interceptions. All pro corner Marlon Humphrey missed half the season and was the 3rd best corner when healthy behind Stephens and Darby. Saturday, the Texans failed to cross the Ravens 25 yard line. When was the last time that was done in the NFL, if ever???. In 2 games against the Ravens a very good CJ Stroud and the Texas offense failed to score a TD. As a lifelong Raven fan, I can say that this defense is every bit as dominant as the 2000 Raven defense. Instead of Ray and Ed, we now have Kyle and Roquan. Maholmes is the very best and will be quite a challenge but there is no tougher defense that he will ever face. Despite how good Patrick is, I don't think he has as good a supporting cast as he did when he earned his reputation. In fact the KC offense has been unimpressive to say the least. This bodes poorly for the Chiefs. I'm not even going to mention Lamar and the Raven offense but judging from the way Allen ran over them Lamar could easily have a field day.
Most people forget CJ has never beat Mc Donald even in college! Mike knows the player in and out! Remember McDonald was the DC for Michigan for two years locking CJ down each time they played! Js
Why the love for Mayfield... He beat a shit eagles team at home. Went 9-8 in a crappy division.. gonna make big money? Id give him 2 yrs 38 mill double it if u get to the super bowl
Keep doubting the Lions Chris 😂. Lions were missing a ton of players against the Bucs. Bucs looked good last week but imo the Eagles checked out a month ago. Lions win and cover. Everyone things Lions are a running team but in reality they have a stronger pass game.
I got Ravens Niners in SB that the color scheme or Bucs but that seems unlikely after Brady they let Baker get to a sb yeah they ain't doing that but I'll take Bills and Lions but love to see the Bucs upset the lions
We ain't scared of Lamar Jackson! Until he has a bad ass playoff game, he has a history of choking in playoff games! CJ Stroud is nothing but an assassin in the big games! SWARM baby!!! Let's Go Texans!!!
I'd feel a bit disrespected if I were Mahomes. Chiefs have made 4 AFC Championship games in a row. Two time SB champs and playing underdog to a team that's never even been there before. Chiefs could be 8-9. Unless Mah is old and busted, if they make the playoffs, they're my pick to make the SB every year. Reminds me of when Aaron's teams would be mediocre and you'd always know they have a chance.
9.5 is hard to cover. It is not like the Texans are a bad team. I see a scenario where Ravens are up 31-20 in the 4th Q with 11 minutes left under good solid play in both sides and they have the ball on the 20. Jackson is coached to play conservatively and runs the ball and makes short passes until they get to the 50. 4 minutes burn. Ravens punt and gets CJ pinned to the 8 yard line. Up two scores they play CJ conservatively not to give up the big play and CJ runs it down to the Ravens’ 30 yard line. Texans kick a FG after a stop. 3 minutes burn. Score is now 31-23. Yeah. On side kick Ravens recover on the 40 with 4 minutes left. Ravens run it down to the 30 yard line with 1:45 left and get a first down after Texans call their final timeout. Jackson takes two knees in victory formation and Ravens win by 8.
@@dalehammers4425It was a fantasy only saved for the Packers. I won a bet but it was a first half bet with the rusty bye week thinking. I also won the Packers 1st half bet.
@@SnowDaulphin The Pack are my 2nd favorite team after the Chiefs, I would have loved a SB between them. Guess now I have to hope for a Chiefs/Niners one so I can laugh at most of my family again. (Cali native)
@@dalehammers4425I don’t think anyone can beat the Ravens at this point. Maybe key 49ers are just injured but they looked human against the Packers and trying to guess if Purdy is going to crack with one of those off games is an overhang.
@@SnowDaulphin Key to stopping the Ravens has always been the same, get up early and force them to get 1 dimensional. Jackson is great when playing with a lead, but under pressure he cracks. Chiefs have the D to at least keep it close.
So let me get this straight... Chris thinks the Chiefs have the overall better roster, and he has more faith in Mahomes than Allen... but he's picking the Bills? PLEASE make that make sense to me...
i bet chris takes the bills/cheifs over the ravens. whoever comes out on top after those two wins with that quarterback? unless the ravens blow out the texans i’d bet my money he’s taking bills/chiefs
Well, it's good to have postseason 🏈 when there were blowouts for the most part. I'll take 4-2 in Straight Up & 6-0 in the Spreads. (+9.5) Texans W 26-23 ❌ (+9.5) Packers Cover, 49ers W 31-28 ✅ (+6.5) Buccaneers W 27-24 ❌ (-2.5) Bills W & Cover 27-20 ❌ Best Bets: Packers (+9.5) ✅ & Bills (-2.5) ❌ Folsom Prison Blues: Buccaneers over Lions Straight Up: 1-3 Spreads: 1-3 Best Bets: 2-2 QB Confidence? That's new. Ok, I'll take CJ Stroud & Josh Allen Just as a heads up, my predictions for the Super Bowl are the Texans vs 49ers but I would also love to see the Texans vs Buccaneers Super Bowl for the Anti-Deshaun Watson Bowl.
Chris "I hear yah" Simms is obviously knowledgeable about football, but is often too dismissive. I don't know if it's flawed social skills or if he's gatekeeping being a football "insider," but I frequently come away from the show feeling like Mike's commentary deserves more respect and consideration. Chris also drops "F" bombs like a 13-year-old just discovering the word. Anyway, PFT is excellent - a gift for NFL fans everywhere - but a pinch of humility on Simms' part would go a long way. And I'm not even necessarily referring to this video, just the dynamic in general.
i like both comments, because two things can be true. would you like to point out literally any other flaws in simms? or any in yourself or keep it brief. and simms struggles to truly be himself on camera because he’s human
I think Ravens 34-33, last minute score. But truthfully I think it's whoever gets the ball last with enough time and timeouts. I think Texans are really good. I think Niners 45-13. I do think the Niners defense has been worse this year by a bit, but I do not think the are worse, I think they are better. 35-3 at halftime. Pick six and a strip sack for a short field. Niners run game too good too. I think Bucs 27-24 break the heart last minute. And Bills Chiefs I keep going back and forth. I'll go Bills 28-17.🤷♂️
@@dalehammers4425 Well I'm woefully wrong about all of it so far 🤷♂️. Good luck to you guys. At least my Niners won, another full week to get rolling. Yeah I have no idea about your game, that's easily the toughest to read by my judgement. Game of the week I figure now that the Texans offense didn't perform as incredible as I thought they would.
@@ryanjacob3338 As a Cali native who has most of his family Niner fans, I wouldnt mind the Chiefs beating the Niners in the Super Bowl again. But for now we have to focus on the Bills, then hopefully the Ravens. Our path to the SB is absolutely brutal from this point on.
@@dalehammers4425 😂 I bet you would enjoy that. Big win sir. Good luck with the Ravens. My Niners better pick it up for the Lions. And while I'm supremely confident, they better pick it up from there too. Two weeks to get to tip top shape if they can beat the Lions.
Chris, I normally love your stuff but your bucs love is showing through your objectivity. We were missing basically our whole starting team and it wasn't that close.
