I love watching tiny house and living in a car or van shows, my husband and I have owned several campers in several sizes. I learned how much fun it is to organize and live in a big way in a small space. At ages 85 and 93 it is the part of our lives we miss the most so it’s great entertainment for me to have RU-vid! I also like the NY apartment/ closet living and decorating shows. I clicked on you because I made a 30 day walk for 30 minutes commitment and wanted to see how others are benefiting from it. I’ve been at it for 2 and a half months now and feel so much better and alive, highly recommend it to any one who can. You are doing and looking great, by the way, keep up the good work!

I love tiny houses but I fear I would need a very large shed to keep my stuff. You look amazing I think single life is agreeing with you. A tiny house on a few acres would suit me to a T. More outside time which I'm sure we can agree is very beneficial to health and mental health. I'm excited for your journey.

Tiny houses are great. Simple living is an amazing way to go. Less stress is better for health. Maybe not so tiny, but small. You're still very young with lots of life to live ahead of you. I'm doubtful you will be alone much longer. It might be time to downsize. Or soon. I'm excited for you. I'm excited about your future. There's so much more to you now. When I met you, you were in the throws of woe. Now you're whole again and full of life. It's an amazing time. 💕💕💕

I was your 1k video thumbs up! 👍🏽 Mandy, I recently moved into a 400 square ft studio apartment that used to be a hotel! I have a wall separating my bathroom and bedroom and a living room/kitchen area. This move was the most draining experience because I have SO MUCH STUFF! I was angry with myself for accumulating things i didn't use, remember I had, or simply boxed and moved around. I don't know if hotels are doing this in your area, but if so, take a tour. You have nothing to lose! This was THE BEST decision I've made for myself since relocating back to NC in 2016. I'll be 50 this summer and prayed for a different life and here it is!

Love this! I just got back tonight from 2 nights in a Tiny cabin in the woods. It was very cozy and relaxing!

My husband and I sold our 4200 sq ft home and moved into a 490 sq ft tiny house. It was refreshing. You realize what you use of what you have. Too much stuff. It was wonderful. We lived there 7 yrs and moved to Florida and moved into a 960 sq ft. Now we just have more stuff. Embrace tiny house living.

I haven’t checked in recently and you look amazing. Your arms are strong and toned. What a reminder that being positive is such a good stress reliever. When you’re miserable and stressed it shows up in your physical being. So happy for you.

I downsized from a 3000 sq. ft. SFH w/ 1/3 of an acre to a 1600 sq. ft. condo. That's about as small as I can go. There are some things I miss about my house, but honestly, condo living is so much easier and frees up my time to do the things I WANT to do vs. the things I HAVE to do.

That porch is everything! I want a shed or small barn size home. I'm excited for you!

Mandy, we actually made our dream of living tiny happen. We moved from a 2000 Sq ft home in the suburbs of Chicago to a 340 Sq ft tiny in E. TN. We love it! Let me know if you want to see our RU-vid of our tiny!

Loved seeing the tiny house. A great get away. We went to a similar type of getaway a few hrs from home and it was so relaxing. They even had a box to put the phones into so you get away from technology.

I used to watch all the tiny house shows also. I would like to stay in one for a vacation. But knew I would never live in one. No no! Not for me! My house is around 1000sqft and I could go smaller. But not tiny! Enjoy your stay!

I am excited and joyful for you! 🥳 We have been living in our tiny home off grid homestead for almost 3 years now. We started out with bare land we had our tiny house moved here not hooked up to water or anything and (even with two kiddos) was absolutely ok with it. We worked hard to get everything in our 400sqft home hooked up before winter came that first couple months we were here (we finished in the Knick of time before mountain snow came😌) here we are 3 yrs later with an addition which now puts us at the 900sqft range. This kind of living can be challenging with a family, but the challenges are more based around everyone getting use to the smaller space verses a traditional house, which in my opinion isn’t going to make or break anything. It’s brought us all closer and we have learned so much living off grid. Thank you for sharing your time and the things you have a vision for! 🙏

Yes I have binged watched Tiny Houses. I know I could only live that life if it was something like that one. It looked so peaceful! However there is no way I am going downstairs to use the restroom in the middle of the night! I would have to have a sleeping area downstairs. Glad you are doing so well as compared to last year when you were so sad & broken… You are thriving now and I am so happy for you!!👍🏻😄😍

Congrats on your new car! I love watching the tiny house videos but know it is not for me. I had the opportunity before tiny houses were a thing to stay in one for sveral summers and wekends. The disadvantage came during one of my visits when I injured my knee and had difficulty with getting around in the tiny house. The tiny house is pleasant to visit and get recharged but not for my everyday life. Also when I did look into buying my own tiny house insurance was a problem as well as a few other essential needs. I decided to just go toward being minimal in everything at my home so friends and family can come and stay for a visit. Loved the house you stayed in.

You look fantastic and refreshed! I think that’s a great idea “trying out” a tiny home before purchasing one. I’m not sure I could go that tiny…I think smallest I could do is 650ish sq Ft and definitely a proper bedroom one the main floor. Definitely wouldn’t want a ladder with a loft. But, I’m thinking this is a great way to experience tiny home living…maybe our next vacation🤔🤔

I truly love the idea of a vision board, I really need to get my self in gear and make one, I unfortunately had surgery just two weeks ago and it’s going to take me out of commission for 3 to 6 months, so everything on my vision board can be a jumping point from there, you really do have some awesome ideas and I can’t wait for your new cooking content, I know the end of the school year is a crazy time, I have three teenagers and they are all in totally different levels of school

Hi, absolutely agree with you, those tiny houses sound absolutely awesome, unfortunately, they’d probably be a little bit too small for me being that I use a mobility scooter to get around, but I’m sure they could figure out some accommodations, I am so happy that you are doing well and meeting your goals and creating new ones all the time, you are wonderful, I love you and your channel

I am so glad you put this out today. I lost my husband 2 years ago and am just now doing small things like changing my curtains and throw rugs. I was having some guilt thinking like I am getting rid of part of him. I know that's silly just me I guess. Thank you for affirming that it is ok to go on. Yep- been watching tiny homes stuff for years!

I considered a tiny home, but I wouldn't want one on wheels. I would want one built onsite like a regular home with plumbing, etc., with some land for gardening. My current home is small on a half-acre, so I decided to stay with what I have.

I lived in some single wide mobile homes as a child. Thankfully, the tiny house movement means a way higher quality of build. Living small did show me that compact can be enough space. I'm content with my life in a double wide on our own land now. I do like how some tiny house communities have become villages. The issues I see, the land is often still owned by someone else. Even a great community, people are often still way close together and if there are individual yards, they're often tiny. Even a great build depreciates. I personally dislike HOAs with severe restrictions. I like that I can (and have) paint my house any color that suits my fancy. I don't go too wild and noticed neighbors nearby with a similar color! I doubt they were inspired as mine is tucked into the woods. I do get standards for lawns, and junk around a house, but pesky rules with busy body enforcers would get on my nerves. Even with all that, listen to your heart while you temper that with your smart. ;)

Yes, I love tiny houses. I had a big house, sold it, and got a smaller house. My friends and family think I'm crazy for selling my my big house for a small old house. I still want to move into a smaller house than this one.

Yes I watch tiny house shows. I think I might like that when I retire in a few years. I'm in Florida and want to move to the mountains but my kids are here and one grandchild on the way. So I don't know yet. I'm going to a tiny house with my dog in the fall.
