Thank you so very much! It’s so hard to tackle this subject without letting our view of what is compassionate, usurp God’s word (as though our sense of morality exceeds his). Secular humanist academics often apply philosophy to God’s word, masking the truth with permissive social norms as some sort of implicit human right to excuse sin, rather than the need for a savior from it.
