Jesus condemns divorce after marriage has been consummated. Even if partners separate for a short period of time for whatever reason, they are to avoid sexual affairs outside the marriage. Marriage is binding until death separates.

How about If the spouse is verbally physically emotionally and mentally abusive? Beside the basic grounds for divorce which are death and infidelity. like that in the case of the Gospel Singer Osinache who recently lost her life two years ago. As alleged it was due to the constant abuse of her husband that caused her demised. Will you now say that one in such condition of marriage should stay there in until they end in such way? Which bring me to my next question, where does Jeremiah 29:11 fit in one’s life at that point? Would you now sincerely tell me that it was part of God’s plan for her life to stayed, there and end up like that? Or would you say that part of the problem with mankind has to do with Hosea 4:6? Lacking the knowledge there off as to what the Father ( God) is saying concerning the individual you should marry. That men will make or take decisions that are not aligned with God? I saw a documentary about young girls in India from early teens was force to marry men who could be their father and sometimes their grandfather was sold sometimes in marriage but stay at their mother or family home until they can sleep with the husband's for some were small children .Some before they reach even 12 yrs old young , pretty beautiful young girls force to marry man in their 40S and 50S big belly overweight men some not even clean to young children.Sometimes the men die before the girls can move in with them and old Rituals they could not marry again and they not even 20 and widowed no one to support them they are poor because money were the reason someti and poverty for some of these children to marry old men .There was this girl 17 years old very pretty very light brown and slim left a widowed and poor and could not marry they end up at a home for widowed women and do prostitution until they are old and they suffer great poverty father GANDHI change that ,that is why some of the people hated him,he saw hundreds of young girls , children whose husband's die and they were suffering badly their lives wasting away he said no in those things I believe GOD will understand .

Divorce is a SIN. If what God has put together He has commanded that no man put asunder and man puts asunder, is that not disobedience? I don't know where all these teachings are coming from? I know who said this. It just means man is disobeying God's word and disobedience of God's word is a sin: even when divorce happens on grounds that is allowed in scriptures, it is still a sin and must be addressed in prayer like we address every other sin when we ask God for forgiveness of our sins: I am referring to Christians in this context of prayer of forgiveness. Is it sinful to eat food? But because it was a matter of God's commandment to Adam and his wife, when they disobeyed Him and ate of the particular tree He commanded them not to eat, did He not hold them responsible?

Now, all sort of men and women of gods are now coming to teach what they don't know about. Saying what is contrary to the scriptures using exciting words of men. Using all sorts of human philosophy and their own human intelligence that sound " reasonable and logically but not Biblical. Divorce is a sin that much is clear in the bible. Adultery too is sin. However, with God is forgiveness of sins. Therefore, divorcees do have a second chance because God forgives sin. But we don't take God's grace for granted and use our liberty in Jesus for a cloke of maliciousness. Let's stay married for the rest of lives as Christians.

If you know you can't keep the law of marriage don't even dream about it, don't go into marriage otherwise you might end up in hell. God never support divorce. It affects both party. If you are not ready to love unconditionally as a man, if you are not ready to submit to your husband as a woman don't enter into marriage. But if you divorce for a genuine reason(s) you are advice not to marry again. Except if you were never legally married before. Can a woman whose dowry is not completed remarry if the man refuses to complete the remaining part of the dowry?

I believe that if a marriage WAS NOT ordained by God, in his (God) eyes that was not a marriage. A marriage that is ordained by God, NO MAN can put assunder/ they will never get divorced/ till death will they part. On the other hand, since sex consumates a marriage and a marriage can become null and void if that does not take place, if when one gets married they were not virgins they were married through sex before, some multiple times.

What about in the bible moses married a wife from different tribe where God has warned him.. and David about the wife uria,

The message is on point and incomplete. So hear us now.. most teachers shy away from two verses. In 15 where, if the unbeliever depart, the believing soul is not at fault and in verses 27&28 where it says if that very said believer, brother or sister who was left by the unbeliever should marry.. they have eone nothing wrong. This Teacher have done the same by leaving that part of the lesson out; unless that part of the teaching was edited out.. I speak for what was published.
