I’m in the middle of my redemption road walking up a narrow path right now. Not from divorce but from the horrible cards life dealt me starting at age 7. And all the damage those cards inflicted upon me as well as the damage those cards led me to inflict upon myself. I would never have made it this far unless God Jesus and the Holy Spirit drug me kicking and screaming the entire way. Now I am faithfully and in spirit walking the path they paved for me. Even though it’s a narrow hard to see path. They are the sighted leading me the blind and I believe and thank and give them all the glory for my recovery. Online and in real life. I refuse to deny them now that I’ve seen them!!!

Thanks for sharing. I have been through two divorces so I can relate to your story. The light of Jesus still shines in us and we can lift and encourage those who have gone through this experience. Thank you for being a blessing Pryscylla! ✝️🙏🎶

Thanks, priscilla. I have never married. At this point in my life that's not going to happen. However, I appreciate your zeal and reminder that Jesus is still around.😊

I was divorced before I was saved, and there is little I regret more than that, but both Paul and Jesus praised the celibate life and said it was preferable. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for women like yourself, and given the stories of the woman at the well and the adulteress that Jesus saved from stoning, that people would even be coming into these comments with harsh words inspired by the demonic MGTOW/manosphere movement is just tragic. I respect the courage and perseverance that this channel represents.

Hi. I got beat up by my wife when I was married from 2006-2019 she beat me up in 2015 over a bank card. I divorce her in 2019. I didn't have any kids with her at all.

I am sorry. Forgiveness is tough, but it's the only way forward. You are one of the true men. Never settle again. You have an amazing life ahead of you. In Jesus's mighty name, amen!

Everything you said was just reversed towards me as the husband.

Maybe you should study to show yourself approved. Follow the way, the truth, the life....the commandment is what? Thou shall not brake wedlock.

Christian women have to come the realization you cannot slave for two masters. You have gotten far too comfortable throwing around the “abusive” word to justify your selfishness pursuit of “happiness”. There is a saying that kind of goes like this “ you can’t run to the judges (court system) to undue what you did in Gods house”. Not sure what country you are from but In the US, the vast majority of divorces are initiated by women and unfortunately we see the same holds true within our Christian households. It’s amazing how you can speak of the redemptive powers of Christ in YOUR life, now, after you decided to get a divorce, but didn’t preach that same restoring power on your marriage in any true earnest.

A woman doesn’t just suddenly decide to get divorce for pursuit of happiness, or because her husband just once decided not to have difficult converstantion or not clean the dishes or yelled at her and shut her down once, and women of God still believes that God can restore marriage after affair. She divorces him after he ignores and mistreats her for years. Then after years of trying to get her husband to pay attention to her, join in the marriage counselling she now attends on her own as he isn’t interested and she prays late at night, it comes the time when she realises that he is never going to participate in the marriage (and probably never really knew what marriage relationship truly requires). She realises that she isn’t going to change him, that’s not her job, never was. That’s when she divorces him and by then she is already emotionally over it because, he taugh her to live without him for years before she finally divorce him. She can’t force him to ‘adult up’ or be emotionally available- she tried it for years and he ignored her. We all have free will, and restoration requires both parties to participate and work on it. Then she has people telling her she should try to work it out or accusing her that she never did.

@@pryscylla_horn Just don’t quit, read your vows over and over again. When you get married it is a covenant you made to one another in most weddings in the house of the lord. There are hills and valleys in all relationships, it isn’t always night, the sun rises again. Keep praying, allow God to work, not on your time, not in your timeframe. Allow God to work. It may take a while, but if you are faithful the Bible says he will answer your prayers in one form or another. But I can guarantee you this, Gods answer will never be divorce. Forgiveness, reconciliation, restoration
