She may be, I didn't find but on some pictures she seems to be slightly taller than Maurice Ashley, and he's not a short guy. I tried to find pictures of Maurice with other people (as I didn't find his height either) but I don't want to go down the rabbit hole too much haha.
Remember everyone, although yes it's good she's playing chess, like all sports, the open league is the most competitive as opposed to the woman's league, which is not as good. If she was someone who could play with the best of them, she may garner more respect and less awkward comments that she's probably used to seeing. Just like we watch like, female sports because we like to see them wear tight, sexy and revealing clothing, we do so because that's the whole point of watching them. We know they aren't as good as the men, so it's not as important. Same here. Men dominate everything. We pay attention to her because she's beautiful.. she should embrace all the attention she gets instead of "wishing" it was different. No, you're not a man, so you'll never beat the top men, so your gameplay will never be as important, which is why you get other attention. This should be common sense.
