Thanks for this classic. One of my favorite gospel groups. They just don't make 'em like this anymore. I used to love watching the Gospel Singin' Jubilee on Sunday morning before church. Eating cinnamon toast & rockin' in the Lazy Boy. While these guys, the Florida Boys, the Happy Goodmans, Blackwood Brothers & other singing saints serenaded me. That was pretty close to Heaven. Mama , Daddy & myself used to sing this song at church on Sundsys. Our choir sings this song & is one of our favorites. Love hearing the Dixie Echoes sing.

McFall sold this song to Bro.Joel Hemphill of the SINGING HEMPILLS who made the song a million seller.Bro.Hemphill returned the rights to the song to Bro. McFall. It's obvious these good ole boys are pentecostal...We pentecostals like to hold our hands up in the ready position , ( bent up at the elbows , apart by about 14 inches ) . This way we are ready for either or....To either clap in time and praise...or....Cover our ears to shield out the noise , LoL . These holy men are just awesome in m y book.
