Decent effort for a no fuss budget build dude. Heatshrink on the anderson terminals? Not really necessary as they are well shielded by the plug, but doesnt hurt for that extra layer of protection. A slimline battery with some of those glorious rivnuts to secure it to the wall may have given you a bit more space, but then given you the headache of wiring up the outlets etc, so this shows a great way for the average punter who doesn't wanna mess around wiring up a house worth of wire for a few accessories lol
Thanks man, I'm definitely no professional haha, but this set up is working really well for me, my bro just got a simple 12 volt install done in his canopy, it runs a slim line and saves so much room.
Well for a unqualified Sparky 😜 that was a pretty good install Brother Beat job. Well explained. Looks like a solid bit of kit hey. Don’t see any reason why it won’t be perfect for your set up. Good job Brother. Great vid 👌
Thank you, big fella! Yeah I'm stoked with it hey, could possibly need a bigger battery down the line. But for now I reckon she'll be spot on! Cheers legend keep up the great work with your vids to mate 🤝
Nice vid bro. I’ve got the same box and battery (without the charger though as I had a red arc) and I got a Victron shunt to monitor battery (as the display is only volts which isn’t accurate), the shunt is a very good bit of kit. It can be mounted inside the lid of the box, just take the divider out and create some space, and divider should screw back on. Cheers !
Mate, awesome job and explanation. Sure you weren't a sparky in a previous life?! I've got a dual (under bonnet) system, but next fourby is gonna have a setup just like yours. Great stuff again. Really enjoying all your vids mate. Thanks. 👍👏🍻
Haha thanks mate! Yeah I've had under bonnet systems before, they worked fine, but I'm really determined to leave the engine bay as factory as possible. It doesn't take much to have that under bonnet area clogged up with mods! And this way it's all in one area, neat and clean.
Can I ask a question mate. @5:50 I am thinking the same blue wire to tap in to ING sauce as you shown there. How you going with the setup so far (after millions km) Love your work.
Good work mate. Is your UHF and battery cable running the same side. Just check any interference due to high current. If any you can alway move battery link cable to front of the car Thanks for your video.
Hi mate, bit off this topic. Did Toyota leave the plastic radiator protector on when they did the bull bar or add a steel one ? I just put a TJM bullbar on mine and noticed the factory radiator protector is just flimsy plastic, a rock or stump would destroy the radiator base, I've ordered a steel protection plate. I followed your earlier advice and put a gsl guard on rear locker actuator. Cheers
@@OutbackOffroadNT yeh mate installed tjm pro air under rear seat,, just looking at that battrey box ,need to setup fridge and camp lights in the tub ,
