I found this tutorial yesterday (3/20/2021). As of right now, I have made two of them. One with a 9" zipper and one with a 7" zipper. I did tweak my fabric dimensions a bit. Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial, I love it!!!
Thank you for this tutorial. I'm excited to try this. I never thought of turning the zipper the other way when sewing. That's a cool way of doing that. This is going to be my next project 😊. Quyana 💫💓💫
Thanks so much for the video I've been trying to figure out how not to have the crooked stitch when doing the zipper and I saw how you turned the fabric around pulled the zipper and then turned the fabric back around and continued to sew. Why didn't I think of that. lol. thanks again.
I made one last week. But I had a pattern. I don’t care for video’s with just music, I rather for you to talk about each step. Also you scared me with your fingers so close to the needle. 😂
I was ok until flip the bag over and measure 2.5 inches, 2.5” from where? On the lining? Outer bag? I made a huge mess at this point. Wasted d rings and a zipper, not to mention fabric. Maybe I’m dense but I’ve been making bags a long time. I sure wish I could have understood the directions.😫
Like you, I also didn't understand many parts of this video. The bag may even be pretty cute and look easy, but the explanations were scarce and dubious, especially for those who have little practice. What went from being excessive in terms of the repetition of the boring music that plays in the background, was lacking in important clarifications for the creation of the piece.
2x2 square. Fold in half, iron. Then fold again to center on both sides, iron. Then insert the zipper into the tabs and pin or clip in place then sew the edge closest to zipper. There are many tutorials on 'How to make a zipper tab'. 😊
Hello . I love your channel and especially this tutorial? I have a little question . I do not see when you put the zipper down? Thank you for your reply . Delphine
