I'm going to buy a Nissan Leaf, and name it Boris, but i'm going to take it further by naming each lug nut, wheel, and door handle. So the tires names are George, Gertrude, Gladys and Glenda. Little Gene is the spare in the trunk. The windshield is Hosea, the rear window is Tom, and the rear window defogger is Tom's friend, Pete. The windshield wiper arm is Jones, and the turn signal stem is Rochester. Oh, this little door (opening glove box) is my kitchen, bedroom and work station.

Hahaha. I so agree. It is goofy to me for people to go around naming everything.

This has been my dream, even got a nice Dodge van. Sadly, a Deer ended the van's life before I had it 7 months... Back to the drawing board! Love your set up! Blessings!

Did a great job with the van build. Just be careful with cooking. With propane. Put the windows down or open door

Haaaa! 😁 Dodge conversion vans.... I had a 96 Ram 1500 back when. The great thing about it? Was the motor! Engine was second to none. The problem? Was EVERYTHING ELSE! Every other system was trash! The transmission, brakes, suspension, AC, electrical system, even the frigging wiper motor!! Never bought another Dodge since.... Good luck with this one.

Please, give me a tip on how to cut down on clothes to the bare essentials please?
@Roesguard
@Roesguard Год назад
Put all of your clothing into a pile on the bed. 1st pass: Do you wear it frequently? Put it in a "maybe" pile. If so, is it old, stained, ripped? Get rid of it. If you haven't worn it recently, then are you saving it for a special occasion, or just waiting for the "right" moment? If it's the former, then maybe. If it's the latter, then get rid of it. If it's something from someone you hold dear, maybe instead cut a piece off and staple it in a scrapbook/by a photo/on a board/on a poster of memories/stitch it into a quilt. That'll give it better use (and space) than in its current form. 2nd Pass: If you wear it a lot and it isn't decrepit, then do you wear it because you like it or because you need it? If it's the latter, then move it to the "keep" pile. If it's the former, then leave it in "maybe". If both, move to keep. Now I'll go back on what I said and tell you that if you need it, but hate it, then get rid of it. You can always find something you can tolerate and need. If it's not worn frequently, then how likely is the "special occasion" to occur in the next 6 months, and is it a one-off, or a recurring event? If it's the former, then hold onto the item until said event, then get rid of it afterwards, or look into something you might wear more often that can replace it. If it's the latter, then keep it in maybe. Last pass: All that's left are the special event items to go through and (only if there's a lot) the "keep" pile. Of the special event items, can any be replaced with something (or combination thereof) in the keep pile? If yes, then get rid of it. If no, then can any of them be used for multiple occasions? If yes, then choose those and get rid of the rest. If no, then is it possible to find something you can buy that will? If you find something (in-store/online) then get rid of everything but the one you like the best. Everyone is allowed something that makes no practical sense. Now to the keep pile. Look at everything in front of you and think about how often you do laundry. How many outfits would you need for as many days and daily events (work, school, etc) as you have before you do laundry? Take that number (days x daily events) and make as many outfits for them as you need, and make sure that if you can get away with using one item multiple times/days, then do so. Anything else, get rid of them. If you want to keep something, you have to sacrifice something else. Edit: I forgot the "frequently used" "maybe" pile. In this case you have to decide if you have the space/desire to keep the items just because you like and wear them a lot. If it's just the "bare essentials", then perhaps see if you can put them in with one of the prior outfits you'd created, or simply wish them well and get rid of them. As for seasonality, consider those separate categories and do the same passes to each category.

9:47 - 9:48 was the garage view. Exactly 2 secs. And you showed two talking heads on full camera face time for more than half this video. Super irritating and misleading title and content. Why call this 'Face time with 20 yr olds about their travels'? This is not a van build tour, this video is a joke passing for a tour. For example: When guy was talking about his 250 amp hours on batteries, and how he connected it up, you glossed over the connections, did not show any detail, and panned out. Intensely frustrating not to see the build. Misleading title with bait and switch content. I am beginning to hate your content and have unsubscribed, Dislike Button, and severing ties. Fed up with this BS content!!!

@@denisephillips9269 I'm not being hard on them, they are kids. I'm being hard on the owner of this channel who used to make his own videos and is now franchising his channel name for others to make videos and post. Quality of videos have gone downhill which is a huge waste of time to watch. We all enjoy meeting the owners and seeing their build. But the name of the channel is Tiny Home Tours. We are not getting the tours. We are getting tiny home interviews. That is my beef. It used to be 85% van coverage, 15% owner talking, now its reversed.
