What drugs are you on??? I was putting the biggest shoulder pads on the planet into my claude Montana suits in the 80's...the shoulder pad goes thickest part outwards, you want the shoulder to be lifted away from the body, no in the middle of the collar bone.
Husband notices I'm wearing his shirt: "Is that my shirt?" Me, looking great in a new top: "Uh, yes and before you get mad, I had Orly's blessing." lol
Loooooooooooooove them all 🥰 My favourite one ( that I am about to create)....... The red grommet dress..........oh you did it with that one..... Sooooooooooo many options of how to add the grommet tape......... Simply genius 🥰👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🥰
Where would I even start to pick a favourite as they're all fabulous! Ok, has to be puffed sleeve top and shorts, as Orly says, it's so darn cute! That it is... 😍🤩😁
Always love your videos... I first came upon them a year ago, and it got me wanting a sewing machine (after having put sewing aside for almost 30 years). Finally got a machine this summer and am enjoying your videos even more now. Thanks for all the fashion inspiration. Love these upcycle ideas. I’m really into that these days (and my husband has given me tons of old and huge t-shirts).
These are fantastic! I've been wanting to do the padded shoulder top, i even bought the shoulder pads months ago and still haven't done it. Will be doing now! Thanks!!
I love this. got my trim - gave it a try and my trim won't lay down flat around the neck. But I cut my neck more like a boat shirt. I think I'm going to take it off and maybe use it as shoulder straps instead. Love the ideas - keep them coming.
I took a pair of sweats that had wide cuffs (instead of tight, ankle hugging they were 'flappy') and made shorts. Because I'm not as tiny, young, or cute as you, I added the cuffs to the bottom. Turned out adorable! I love that they make the shorts just a bit longer and snugger, but not right. Now I'm going to have to play with the legs and a t-shirt!!
Hey Orly, could you please add timestamps? I would love to be able to easily jump the project that caught my eye. Thank you for so many fun ideas!!!! (Now i'm gonna go dig through my man's clothes!)
🤩rly love your creative mad self taught ability!! But I must say for record & to those who are new to sewing "you attached the shoulder pads the wrong way" (thick edge toward the outside for lift). You have been regaling us with your wizardry, But there is a saying in the 'Arts' learn the rules, so you can break the rules" 😘
Have to say you outdid yourself this time! Incredibly cool ideas, every single one. BTW you didn't include the URL of your new website, but I signed up at thediydesigner.com. Hope that was right!
I love them 😍 and would've love to have one of your pieces, but you never know in the near future with millions of subscribers maybe you can have your clothing line again ,the millions are going to happen by the way 🤞😍
Love how they all turned out!!! Not sure my favorite my least is the red grommet dress just not my style but you look great in all of them. 😍😍 I love how you work all over your house, in the kitchen, dinning room, bedroom, floor LoL I don't have an official craft sewing room so I'm all over my house too ❤❤❤ Yeaaaaa for bonus videos!!!🤗😍💗💖💟
Thats what makes orly SO amazing... Even after the fact she doesn’t back down and just says ‘well yeah - you right - I did it wrong’ instead of hiding behind a ‘it was on purpose’ thing... Loooove that!!!
😊😊😊😊😊❤ I was thinking, it would be cool if she does a tshirt recon, AND SHE DID!!!!! I didn't even see that short set coming. So cute! Thank you Orly, you just made my day ❤
*An actual recording of events* Brother: Why are you wearing my t-shirt? Me: I got a blessing Brother: (Being an Orthodox Christian and my father also being a priest he took it better than most) 🤣😂🤣
Love your videos! This one is so creative. I do have to point out that you put your shoulder pads in backwards, though. The thicker straight edge goes to the outside and the thinner rounded edge goes on the neck side to create a smooth shoulder. Cheers!
I have never felt so obsessed with a channel as yours and YOU, girl you are not only talented and extremely creative, you are such a good teacher!! thank you!!
All SO CUTE!! I really like the fringe dress. I could definitely make a long T-shirt that way. Are there any videos that you have done for us "older gals"? But I do still LOVE and wear tie dye t-shirts 😉 Keep us in mind for future videos
That’s so cool to hear about your “boutique upcycled”fashion line! I love the concept, Funny that I watched this By chance after I checked out Angelina from Blueprint DIY’s limited edition collection. You ladies are my favorite DIY fashionistas on You tube.
I'm dying at how cute these DIYs are! And I love that it's not just putting some slashes into a tee. I have soo many tees that I love but they ate getting stale. Will be doing upcycleing! 🖤
Ok, I am not sure if you will see this from an old video... These are all gorgeous. I think I will try the pant sleeve one... But question for your design business, how did you handle sizes? Or were all the pieces your size?
It's interesting how on my right side bar of suggestions, out of over 50 of them only 2 are your channel and I've been a subscriber for a long time. Sometimes I forget about your channel because it's rarely suggested which answers my question of why you only have 311,000 subscribers. I love this channel and I'm sure everyone would subscribe if they were able to find you. Algorithms.......
I'm just starting to sew...gave up in high-school and I pretty much watch your videos and one other...I'm actually sitting down to attempt some of these right now because I just had a massive fail cropping an old pink denim moto-jacket...fouled up the zipper #EPICFAIL
