"DIY" Bass Traps and Acoustic Panels by Dmitri for Audio Recording, Video Production & Voice Recording work. These are designed for voice & sound effect recording. To increase the bass absorbing capabilities increase the thickness of the absorbing material.
The primary function of this panel was to treat this room for reverberation and to stop the echo for video and sound effect recording for my main channel / massageasmr
I have:
12 x 2ft x 4ft around the walls (600x1200mm)
2 x 4ft x 8ft on ceiling (1200x2400mm)
Acoustic Material 1' or 25mm (get 2' or 50mm for music treatment)

In australia we do not have access to the more common fiberglass rigid panels so i had to find something else. I didnt want to work with rockwool for this so i choose the tontine product as it is easy to work with.
To keep it simple i cut the wood the width of the material
5 x 4ft or 1200mm Lengths of wood
2 x 2ft or 600mm Width + with of the wood for me was 2 x 19mm to my width lengths were 600 + 19 + 19 = 638mm
This was to keep the centre material exactly 2ft x 8ft (600x1200mm)
