DIY Agility Obstacles for Under $100

I wish l could buy pvc pipe and joiners for $100. But when one lives on islands in the South Pacific, everything is expensive. However necessary is the mother of creativity so I seriously appreciate your video. I have a young Catahoula puppy who is super smart, super fast and super hyper. We don’t have farm animals on our life style block nor do we hunt, so l figure agility would be a great activity to give him a challenging exercise. For the weaving poles, l am using electric fence stalks wrapped with pool noodles so he doesn’t wack himself on the steel rods as he runs through. I have scored some old bike tyres from a cycles shop for the tyre jumps. Your video has been a big help. Thank you, will subscribe so l can follow your progress 👍

So happy to have found your video. I built my first jump last year from RU-vid but your instructions are far better and I’m looking forward to making the teeter, the circle jump and a new ramp walk. I’m a volunteer puppy raiser for Canine Companions for Independence and it’s important to expose our pups in training to various obstacles and services. 👍👍 Very cool. I don't use glue either so once they get proficient on an obstacle you can take it apart & build other stuff. You can also use pool noodles & ¾" PVC to make soft jump poles & circles etc. Great fun ☺️ 🐾🐾

This is great! I'm getting a German Shepherd which will be training to be a service animal, guard dog and these dogs need a lot of stimulation. An agility course is huge tool to help it burn off it's energy. So glad I found your video.

Great video. So informative and just what I was looking for, for my 13 month old Australian Shepherd! She has so much energy and I have the yard space so this video is exactly what I was looking for so not to break the bank on an obstacle course for her! Amazing and in such a good budget! I will definitely be using this. I’m assuming this course would be suitable or an average sized female boxer dog?

People need to adjust these to their size of dog. Both length wise and width. Too small of a dog walk or seesaw for larger dogs are accidents waiting to happen. And I’d recommend putting down some kind of gripper tape to avoid slips.

For the Dog plank walk, will it be hinge side up or down when finished

First question how many 1'' Sch 40 PVC I need in total to build the ramp and tee-a-tar. The second question how many 3/4'' Sch 40 PVC I need in total to build the tire jump and weaving poles. thank you

Great DIY. YOu said the planks were made with 1" x 8" board? But below I saw 1" x 6"Please confirm. Also I don't think I heard the length on the teeter totter board ? And what board were they 1x8 or 1x6?

How many inches are the dog stops for teeter totter and dog walk?

Do you attach the dog walk to the pvc base? Not sure if i missed that.

Can these obstacles be made with larger/stronger pvc? My 50+ lbs Belgian sheepdog broke the teeter when he ran up on it.
