UPDATE: So it seems like the website I used to buy the prints jacked up the price since I bought them. The pre-sale price went up from $4.90 CAD to $24.90! ($1.50 to $12.45 with the sales) I guess they realized we were getting too good of a deal and decided to change their pricing. Luckily, there's plenty more cheap websites and apps to buy prints like this (like the Freeprint Photo Tiles app Austin mentioned). I found some websites might have foam prints like the ones I bought under the name "Forex." Good luck!

i struggled a bit to do it but i was successful🥳 ive been waiting months for a video like this so thank youuu. i’m buying them to put up in my college dorm and i love how they look. in the US they were 65% off so i paid a total of $5.21 per 12x12 tile instead of the $30-35 i would for a regular vinyl :)

Since Taylor Swift announced the Midnights collection with the 4 vinyls that form a clock I had to get it, but I have to save money for the tour so thank you so much I think I’m gonna try to recreate the vinyl back covers with the foam plates!

Hey Kieran! I wanted to let you know that your video was extremely helpful. I ordered 30 prints and did the content-aware filling too. I even was able to add Spotify codes that were color coordinated to each album. I actually had to chat with customer service twice about getting the sale price because they increased it by a crazy amount 😂. Thank you so much!!! ☺️ km super excited

@@benmichel5235 They increased the price before the sale even ended. I'm assuming too many people bought them at that price. Kieran is Canadian so in the US they were actually $1.96. I contacted customer service through a live chat on their support page. One of the employees assured me that I would get that price and assumed there was just a glitch. When I contacted them again and was ready to place my order they told me promotion prices change, and I missed the sale. However, I got the sale price because the other employee assured me I would. So I don't think that they would drop the price down for you unfortunately 😔. The sale was also set to end today

Hopefully you'll see this, but after sticking them to the wall are you able to take them off and rearrange the order whenever you want or is the sticky part pretty much glued to the wall? Great video btw, exactly what I was looking for! Can't wait to get into my new apartment and start working on a wall myself! Side note : you can also automate a task on photoshop by recording what you want it to do, it's in the action panel. Then every time you run that action it will apply the same modifications on any photos that you want. It took me about 20-30min to do 20 photos.

Did you find out if it was really necessary to add the extra content aware to each picture after seeing it when they arrived?

Ehh probably not, the final cut was pretty close to the original edge of the album. You might see a sliver of the colour you add on a couple of the edges, but if the colour somewhat matches then you'll be fine. I honestly just wanted to try out the feature

Yes, it's necessary. I tried it on a test sample and had to get replacements.

How is the print quality? since resizing from High Resolution from Ben Dodson Web to 8x8in was needed and when I look at photoshop it looked terrible.

I'm testing the same website and my total cost at checkout for one black 8x8 foam print is $42.35... The foam print itself is $24.90 but with a 50% discount comes out to $12.45. Then shipping is an additional $29.90!

the only way ur gonna get done for copyright is if the label that produces the albums notice youre selling the designs for ur own profit and not just personal use like in the video
