I made a really trick DIY allen wrench wall organizer from plastic for a great shop organization upgrade! My allen wrenches / allen keys / hex keys were a mess and very disorganized as I had them stored in a coffee can without a permanent home! I solved that with making a wall organizer using some 1" x 1" black ABS plastic. I went a step further by heating the wrenches and melting my pilot holes for each size to shape to keep them from rotating! Very precision slip fit to please the OCD gods!

This is nice, thank you. I was thinking that if you're not going to mark their sizes (which is fine), then a cheap magnetic bar from Harbor Freight could be sufficient. The magnetic bar is only like $5 or less. Just a thought!

Labeling would be nice but luckily it doest slow me down as I use 3 sizes commonly

The time I spent on this project has saved me 10-fold the time in the shop while working. One of my favorite things I've made that makes grabbing a tool quick and easy

Nice idea for a small amount of Allen wrenches. However I have a "MOTHER LOAD" of Allen wrenches curtacy of inheriting my brothers "he was a welder" tool box! So I picked up a plastic container which has 16 small containers to hopefully hold different sizes of Allen wrenches. We will see how it goes. I did however use your type of holder for my screwdrivers and it works well.

Thank ya! This works well for me as I only use a few sizes on the bulk of what I work on so being easily accessible was key.
