Thank you for taking the time to hollow out the antlers, to hide the wire more than most other videos.

Good video. But You should really use goggles or safety glasses to protect Your irreplaceable eyes.

Can you turn that into a European deer skull lamp?

What kind of epoxy do you use? How do you get the epoxy to match the color of the antler? Thanks. I’m working on one too, just kinda stuck on how to hide the pins I put in.

The stuff I use is called antler sculpt. It's a 2 part epoxy. There are a bunch of different ways to get it to match. The stuff I use is called potassium permanganate. I use other stuff but that stuff is hands down my favorite. Hope this helps

Do you think wrapping where the screws are with twine would look good? Also would this work with a 3x4 mule deer antler? I’ve been trying to find something to do with them I think this might be it.

I think it would look good. It's always good to try new looks. The bigger the antler the easier it is to work with. If you end up making something send me some pics.

If you take your dust from drilling and mix it with some wood glue you can fill your holes with a natural look

Great video! Where do you buy your lamp kit from? ( the package that has all the brass looking parts and the bulb socket) Thanks!!!

I get them from places like Loews. Or i'll buy a used lamp and gut it for the parts.

Nice video! Hey, when you cut your screws off with the dremel, did you back them out a little bit or were they pretty flush with the antlers? Thanks man.

Thanks Andrew, I keep the screws tight then cut. Length of screws will vary. I always try to leave some of the screw out so you can cut it off easier.
