Been struggling to with arduino for weeks now, thanks for this source code and wiring. This is opening so many new doors for me. Still trying to understand the code but a huge building block and example.
Waw Fantastic work. A question can I use the same setting even if I play console? I have a Playstation 4 and a Thrustmaster T300 wheel, I'd like to learn how to make my own custom chainrings. Thanks a lot and congratulations
Hi, I've purchased the files and I am just adding everything to my basket on ali-express. I have hit a few speed bumps, the link for the M5 x 40mm caphead's only goes up to M5 x 35mm and I can't find any others on ali-express and also the link for the 2x microswitches brings up lots of options, please could you clarify which ones is it that need to be purchased? Thanks! Great work on the wheel I can't wait to build it! :)
I have come to build the wheel and the microswitches are wrong! I cannot find the right microswitches online either! Even the linked one on Ali express are wrong! Help!
@@ShopeeMarketteam it's inspired by that car's wheel yes, but the design is indeed by turn racing, they're the ones who made the replica for the person who drives the race car irl
The wheelbase must be independent from wheel to work with this custom wheel, for example in logitech you need to make adapter, for thrustmaster it's work fine, for fanatec you need special hub
hi i buy your project but cant upload the gt3 code to arduino i have this problem could you hel me plz... arduino_GT3:155:15: error: expected unqualified-id before '.' token Joystick.setButton(rotaries[i].cwchar, 1); delay(50); Joystick.setButton(rotaries[i].cwchar, 0); ^ arduino_GT3:155:69: error: expected unqualified-id before '.' token Joystick.setButton(rotaries[i].cwchar, 1); delay(50); Joystick.setButton(rotaries[i].cwchar, 0);
Why do you cut the shape out of the carbon rap then add it too the plate? What i do is place a piece all over then trim off with a very sharp blade. Lot of work for less clean look
Sorry to ask another question! i'm making some changes to the stickers for the wheel, could you tell me what font the 'TC' etc labels are above the rotary dials? Thanks.
great project!!!!! solo una sugerencia, las agarraderas las colócate al revés, la cara toda tapizada debería ir al frente y la cara.con los tornillos deberían ir en la parte posterior, de esa.forma queda mejor saludos
First of all congrats for the build, looks amazing. If i wish to add clutch paddles to the wheel, do you know which changes i would need to make in the arduino for them to work? Thank you
Just a thought But, you should make the main plate a 2 piece design and make it fully 3d printable for the people who do not have access to Metal and tools. Great video btw
