Hi Teknoistix, The concept of second pot with the relay coil is not understood. How the sensitivity of the circuit to trip relay will work automatically by pot2. Kindly explain. In case, it is unexplainable, kindly improve the circuit for automatically cut on full charging.

As the power supply is variable, how the 12volt relay can function properly if use 3 volt or 6 volt output to charge anything in that range. For that you need to feed the relay coil directly from the 12 volt DC output of the transformer.The cut off circuit is wrong in this respect.
I think this circuit is only for 12v cutoff because of relay less than 12v it will not cutoff because 12v relay can work min on 9v max 12v so if we need cutoff for 4v we would need 5v relay not 12v..

I have tried to build the same project by following the circuit diagram which u have drawn but the cutoff is not working and also the voltage is not changing. When voltage is adjusted to charge battery of 4 to 7 volt then it can never drive 12V relay as it needs at least 9 to 10 volts approx. 2. When voltage is adjusted for charging 12v Battery then the potentiometer-connected to relay will get damage when it is adjusted to the minimum values due to high current. नमस्ते बन्धु, आपने बडा ही अच्छा व सरल सर्किट बताया है। 👌👍 कई दिनो से मुझे एक 12 वोल्ट 3 एम्पियर चार्जर की नितांत आवश्यक्ता थी। आपके सर्किट की Amp. कैपेसिटी तो मै LM 317 के साथ एक 2N3055 सीरीज़ पास रैग्युलेटर के तौर पर लगा कर, व 3/5 Amp. के डायोड लगा कर बढा लूंगा। मगर मुझे कुछ इस सर्किट को ले कर कुछ अन्य शंकाऐं हैं। 1) सर्किट मे रिले कौन सा (कितने वोल्ट की क्वाइल वाला) लगेगा, इसका कोई ज़िक्र नही है। 2) अलग अलग वोल्टेज की बैटरी के लिए अलग वोल्टेज वाले रिले लगाना पडेगा। कारण अगर हम 6 वोल्ट या 24 वोल्ट की बैटरी चार्ज करेंगे तो उस समय 12 वोल्ट की रिले कैसे सही काम करेगी ? 3) 10 K POT", जो कि रिले क्वाइल की सीरीज़ मे लगा है, वह रिले क्वाइल का लोड (33 m. Amp व उससे अधिक) कैसे लेगा ? कृपया शंका समाधान करें धन्यवाद 🙏

sir , i have a problem .mere pas ups ki 12v 7.2ah battery hai .charging to hoti hai but ac supply band hone per dc current me battery ke volt down hone lagte hai .agar me battery ka koi ek wire hata du to current droup nahi hote hai .transformer 12v 2amp ka hai.diode bhi badal ke dekhe but problem not solve.aur aapke is circuit me agr ac current band kar diya jaye to bhi led glow karegi?
I think last portion was not cleared.you set led on off though moving of second potentiometer, but it should be controlled by battery voltage level,what you have omitted and set the led on off just moving second potentiometer.i think that potentiometer should be used ,when you already connected battery and when after 12 v charge or battery reach its full charging capacity may be 7 ah or near.so, the second potentiometer is to be used just to set led indication when the battery attains its full charge of 7 ah
I have a question. Hope you can assist. I want to setup a system with an inverter such that the devices on the inverter will only go in when power goes off and inverter kicks in. Devixes should not power when there is normal grid power. Possible?
Nice & simple cct. Whether fully or tapped varriable resistences can be replaced to facilitate V & A controling from out side the cabinet(knob controlling) instead opening & moving semi varriables by screw driver again & again. Is not it troublesome?. Pl modify.
