The pipe in the ground which holds the long pipe up - is a 3 inch inside diameter piece and is buried 18 inches in the ground. The pipe standing is a 3 inch outside diameter - which slides into the short piece of larger pipe buried in the ground. The standing pipe is 7 foot tall when in the ground - so it is actually 102 inches long (or 8 foot 6 inches long)
It's really just some scrap metal and an old wheel bearing assembly from a front wheel drive car. If a person doesn't have such items lying around - it gets expensive to purchase all of the parts - including the pipes, motor, belt, pulleys - etc.
