There are two tricks. First put base colour on the masking tape. Like here I would have brushed my masking tape with white. And now masking tape is sealed nothing will bleed...secondly around masking tape the paint has to be bare minimum on the brush and without water sk it's thick

Yes mud directly in the tin, I don't know what is the material of the tin inside but it doesn't rust. My experience. So I directly add soil. Stencil is from itsy bitsy on Amazon. The exact may not be there so I will share a closer one. For the paint I used multisurface paint that stays on metal. You can use chalk paint too.

What is that spray that you used and what colour did you use acrylic?

I spray vooki hard stain spray to remove dirt inside the dabba and then rinsed off in hot soapy water to remove all residue. Then I put multisurface Dulux paint . I put masking tape to create some simple lines patterns and then I made them beautiful using floral stencil from itsy bity, available on Amazon. Last varnish. Exactly yehi Kiya hai

It never had coir pots dear, they were Teracotta pots and they are very good for plants. And you see this is outdoor so sprinkle water with hose or gently pour with a can, there won’t be any mess and water that spills on the floor sookh jata hai in 2 min, earth is boiling

And they don’t look cluttered coz they are one and half feet apart and every alternate is at a different height so at one level pots are 3 feet apart

I used vooki hard stain spray to clean them. Sprayed and then rubbed with a brush and cleaned them in hot water
