Love this thank you. I did see another lady just use elastic bands instead of cable ties and without the hula hoop or glue gun part but I think the added touch of hula hoops makes it extra bespoke and finished. Lovely job, thank you

Hi Tom I have a question! Did you attach the headboard to a bed frame and if you did, how did you do it? Or is it just floating against the wall? I love your headboard! It’s beautiful!
Hello! I didn’t attach it to anything, I have a divan bed base so just pushed it up against the wall and it’s still standing upright today! I hope this helps ✨
I've been researching this diy and I've seen others, but I love your extra attention to detail!! The hula hoop gives it a more finished look, great job! Could you please tell me the length of your bamboo u hoops? Thank you
Hi Tom!! I loved your video and I would like to make one of my own. My question is does the bamboo stick need to be the same diameter as the hula hoop? Or can it be considerably smaller and just stay put with the glue?
Hey Libby! My bamboo stick was ever so slightly smaller, so it fit in quite snug. You could maybe wrap some tissue/tape around the end of the stick to pad it out before putting it into the hula hoop? Then secure with glue and tape on the outside too, I think that would be good option! Hope that helps! ☺️☺️
Hi thank you do much, you inspired me to make it myself to! I have 3 questions; how big was your hula hoop? How big is your bed (is it a one person bed?) and is it stil not broken? I will definitly try this (you have a new abonee🤗)💕
Hello! Aww I’m glad I’ve inspired you. My hula hoop was really small, 22 inches. It fits perfectly for my double bed. & it’s really sturdy, still standing strong! Hope that helps 😆😆
@@interiortom8186 i was wondering the same thing! i have a queen bed and want to do this so bad but i’m not sure how to find a hula hoop that’ll be big enough for a queen or atleast a full. 😭😭
@@Carol-wj4si Hi Carol, I would recommend getting the largest hula hoop you can find. In the store I purchased mine from I took the smallest hoop of 3 sizes to choose from. I think the biggest was probably around 30 inches (at a guess). I hope this helps ☺️
I wish you well with your channel. You seem a really nice guy, just one tiny thing/request, please don’t shout. Yes, I can turn the volume down and I did, but it was still piercing through my hearing aids. I’m NOT hating, just my opinion. x
