i think ill try a cheapo apple wedger on some smaller stuff, it might just crumple to pieces, might have to just weld one of those rings up

Simple idea, but could do with some safety features, maybe. Something to cover the top half of the blade? I really was expecting to see a nasty little accident.

I have thought about this. I think a good idea would be to build a slot for the bamboo to go in and push through the slot. The blade would also be in the slot.
